This is a wonderful hotel that we stayed at for a weekend break. This is the best place to stay. The staff are really professional. The room is cleaned every day. The bed is a little small for a double, but it's a good place to stay. The distance to the metro stop is a half-hour walk away.

My best experience ever here! And then the employees here were so courteous and nice for the price that was so reasonable given the place that was very good for that time. After that, the cuisine here was so good. Subsequently, the price was very worth the quality of service.

No complaints from us about this place. This is our 5 out of 5 for this hotel. When I stayed here, I got a room with a direct view, a restraint, and a view of the sea. And then, the person named Deb was very hospitable and nice supper.

I recently stayed at the River Hotel for three nights. The room was warm and spotless, and the bed was very comfy. The room had a lovely river view. The entire staff was very friendly, polite, and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The best of all, people with autism were being taught various aspects of the hospitality industry and they were so dedicated and lovely, a joy to meet. I will definitely be using this hotel again and wholeheartedly recommend it.

All floors creak, no sound proofing or seems to be none. Continental breakfast is poor, food offering and facilities, need to ask for coffee, cups, spoons.

Reception staff were ok, but they were not very informative, I had to ask where my room was and I was not told that the lift was out of order and my room was on the 2nd floor! The rooms are sign posted as ‘suites’ this is definitely not the case. It was a basic room which was clean. There was no shelf or anywhere to put toiletries in the bathroom which was quite annoying and not practical. There was no instructions for the tv and as it was a smart tv I had to work out where all the channels were, I do feel that someone who’s not used to that would struggle. There was no information in the room about the on-site restaurant which I feel is a big mistake as I had no idea about breakfast. Overall I probably would not stay here again

Room was ok, Relatively clean but the floorboards were so creaky I thought I was in a 200 year old house. I went down to the restaurant which didn't have a beer license ordered fish and chips. It came after about 20 minutes with the batter lay on top of the fish (like it had been pre cooked) and it was anemic. I cut into the fish and it was completely raw.

The hotel is nice enough. My husband and I went for breakfast. The floor is not clean, and there are a lot of crumbs everywhere. The 2 pillows are too soft and it's so uncomfortable. No air-conditioning. We only have 2 towels, no hand towels. The bathroom floor is squeaking a lot, and when I used the tap on the sink, it made a weird noise. The ambience in the restaurant is quite dull. But the night reception is very good, we asked for a fan because it was hot and we got it within 5 minutes.

It was room 206 . There was blood on the bed sheets underneath the pillows. No soap on the basin to wash . Unable to get coffee before nine am please log a complaint and want the refund as urgent please

Limited evening menu due to lack of product, less than a third of the breakfast menu was available. Vastly over charged for a £5.00 bottle of wine @ £25.00, little choice of other drinks (no draught beers)
