The fact the rock n bowl motel is very close to the strip of shops at Cabot circus, as well as a few bars only a couple minutes walk away was very convenient. There was plenty to do in the bar to start the night off and it was perfect for our lads weekend. The only issue we had was the cold showers. Only one shower in the block was warm, but besides that it’s exactly what you see on the pictures

Our twin room was lovely. It was clean, quiet with extremely comfortable beds. Rock n Bowl is excellent value for money in a great central location. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again.

Perfectamente equipado para un Youth Hostel, con estándar europeo. Mi estancia fue en diciembre y la temperatura muy agradable gracias a la calefacción. Había muchos españoles, lo cual lo hace una experiencia muy sociable. Pero hay que decir que somos la tribu más ruidosa del planeta, sentí vergüenza al oír cómo hablaban a gritos entre sí en la cantina como si fuéramos los amos del lugar y nadie entiendese nuestro idioma. Todo dios allí comiendo su comida en silencio o hablando a un volumen discreto y los Spanish venga a dar la nota. En fin...

Just one night but I felt at home! Cosy, clean and funny, the breakfast is good and free, the environment is absolutely amazing. Central location, 5 minutes walking from the bus station. I stayed one night but they offer weekly rates for a really good price.

This is what we expect from a hostel. The location is amazing. The man at the reception was lovely and very helpful with everything. The bed stuff was very clean but the bedroom floor smelled like pee, the showers and sinks were not that clean either.

Good location for the city. Clean comfortable room. Staff were really friendly. Great value with breakfast included. The basin area needs somewhere to hang towel, clothing etc; as did the room. Being on a top bunk there was nowhere to put my belongings. Lockers would be useful.

As per other reviews, it was a little noisy Saturday night, as some of the rooms look into the club's courtyard. This was my first stay in a hostel and I was genuinely surprised with how good it was. Very comfortable bed and bedding, the facilities were good and it was very clean all round. I've stayed in worse hotels for a lot more money, will definitely stay here again, but not in a Saturday.
