After a vehicle issue, I was made to feel very welcome, even when I turn on the fire alarm and start burning frankincense for a steam bath. The room was clean, fresh, and hot, and the staff's friendliness was appreciated for me and my four-legged companion.

I stayed in the beginning of December for one night. On arrival, I discovered the unkempt grounds, with trash all over the area. I parked and headed up to the equally unkempt reception desk, where I was greeted warmly. Checkin was easy, and I was assigned room 104. As I walked down the corridors and into the hotel's lower levels, things just kept getting worse and worse. Ceiling stains and peeling walls in at every turn. I assumed it was the personnel quarters because there were constant piles of laundry lean and dirty in the hallway because the room was furnished in its entirety and seen as untidy. The carpet was scabby and loose, and for some reason, the skirting boards and coffee table were carpeted to match. The bathroom was as old as the main area. Given the exposed electrical and rust, there was a trouser press in the room, but it had clearly ceased to function years ago. Everything was clean enough, but don't take your partner out on a romantic night. Although the cuisine was excellent and the staff were friendly, the whole place was decrepit.
