This place is highly recommended. Very pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. Clean bathrooms and toilets. They even provide safety lockers, free luggage storage before checkin and after checkout, and lounge access to relax and refresh yourself.

I stayed in the female dorm with 10 beds. The royal mile is in a great location, about ten to fifteen minutes walk from waverley station. Although the beds were comfortable, they could use securing their privacy. A nice bonus was the complimentary towels. Staff were friendly. If thats your thing, you can participate in nightly activities. However, the bathroom shower stalls could benefit from some updating because the water pressure there was somewhere between trough and jet.

During the fringe festival, i spent one night there. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. It was a lastminute reservation at the best price ive ever found. Superb location. Only lost ten stars because the prices in edinburg were so high during the festival.

This place comes highly recommended. The staff is always cheerful and eager to assist. They have a playlist that i also adore! The rooms and amenities are cozy and spotless. Excellent location, excellent personnel, and reasonable prices. There is incredibly positive energy in the hostel.

This hostel is in a prime location in old town, close to everything, feels very safe, has solid amenities, all the people there are really nice, and offers incredibly affordable and comprehensive breakfast every day. It can be chilly at night, but earplugs are all you need. They have excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities, as well as constant activity. I would absolutely stay here again in no time!.

It was a very pleasant stay with lots of friendly staff and cool bunkmates. Everything was very clean, including the kitchen and bathrooms, good shower heads with quick hot water, fridges and stoves. You dont even have to worry about towels or sheets, comfortable mattresses and pillows, two plugs near your bed, individual lamps to read without bothering. Dont forget to take free tea and excellent hot chocolate, even milk. The only thing i missed was having mr. Cotton on the bed. Some hostels have it (not all of them) and it is very useful for when you want to change clothes without using the bathroom or just have some privacy. And maybe he has drier but our stay was short so we didnt need them. There is also the option to wash your clothes for 5 pounds. Overall, the vibes were just beyond description, very cozy and very full of life. Very cool names of rooms and beds too. If ill return to edinburgh, ive definitely staying at this hostel again.

The location is perfect, you can reach everything within 10-20 minutes by walking distance. The staff was very welcoming, every day another event to attend and the rooms were also clean. Best hostel ive ever stayed in.

Royal mile backpackers is located on the high street in the heart of edinburgh. Its a cozy and warm hostel that is clean and has nice rooms and facilities. A decent breakfast is served daily and you can enjoy it while looking outside on high streets.

The location is advantageous. The beds are uncomfortable, and the lockers are quite small. Additionally, the environment is more enjoyable for people in their early 20s. I wouldnt suggest this place to anyone looking for a little more comfort in the 30 s or 30 years old. However, it was pleasant to have gotten onsite assistance and kindness from the staff, who also offered ps2 for an affordable breakfast.

This place is recommended to stay. Located in a prime location, close to the bus station and the main stop where all tours begin. Just ten minutes walk away. The beds are tinier. Bathrooms were clean, which was my first priority and at this price great. Staff who work in their kitchen have everything you need to cook your own meal.

This hostel offers a great value for the price paid. The location is excellent, and the breakfast provided for 3 pounds was like rebirth after we had been eating McMuffins for breakfast for five days in irrational time. Although the rooms were tinier, the hostel was clean and safe. Their sister hostel across the street assisted us in keeping our bags until the night after checking out. Overall, it was incredibly satisfying.

My favorite hostel thus far! The staff members are lovely and enjoyable people to chat with and interact with, and everyone in the room is incredibly kind and courteous. If you want to meet people but arent afraid to talk to strangers, there are activities for everyone to do every day of the week that everyone can participate in. The rooms are cozy, spotless, have a breathtaking outlook, etc. Its conveniently close to everything fascinating. This wont be for you because there will be many stairs to climb, which is not ideal for those with limited mobility.

It was fantastic for the price. Really a great location and genuinely sexy atmosphere. Although the hostel itself might have been tastier or cleaner, overall it was fine. Because it is confined, you can meet countless people, and they offer dozens of enjoyable nighttime activities. They dont offer bag storage, so the reception is only open from 15 to 22, but they do have partnered with irrational sister hostel that has staffed aroundtheclock. Its definitely more of ambiance of party, not quiet, as well as situated on crowded street.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hostel for the first time, and it exceeded my expectations! The staff members were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always making sure to make room for us so that we could come to them if we encountered any issues. The food provided was reasonably priced and served in generous servings. Additionally, there were free clothes bins available! As well as complimentary shower facilities and towels! Everything was delightful and nutritious. We also had to spend some time at their sister hostel, high street hostels, before checking in, as their communal area was lovely. Overall, i highly recommend this place!.

The atmosphere here is very pleasant and welcoming. The staff and other guests are very friendly, which makes the atmosphere very fun and inviting. There are always different guests, but i think that kind of atmosphere puts them in that headspace and allows them to naturally make friends.
