If you are thinking about visiting Barmouth, the Seascape is absolutely the best place to stay. My husband and I stayed at the Seascape in Barmouth for 3 days, and we could not have had a better experience. We had a Seaview, and it was beautiful; every morning we enjoyed our coffees in the lovely seating area in our room, looking out onto the sea! The bed was sooo comfortable; at home I wake up every morning with a bit of a backache, but for the two nights we stayed here, not an ache or pain. The shower in our room was amazing! The rooms are clean and large, and with a fridge in the room, we were able to buy and bring our own food as well. By far, the BEST thing about the Seascape are Shona and Bash, our hosts and new friends!!! They are amazing, and absolutely everything you want in a host; they go out of their way to make sure their guests are well looked after...no request is too much. Shona and Bash are wonderful guests, and more importantly to my husband and I, genuinely beautiful people!

I was very pleased to find that my room (no.5) had recently been refurbished with new fixtures and fittings! The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. A fridge was included, which was useful for storing breakfast items. Free parking outside on the street was ok in May, but I imagine it could be a problem in high season. Barmouth Train station is a 5 minute walk away with trains roughly every 2 hours north to Pwllheli and south to Machynlleth. The hotel owner has conveniently posted the timetable in the foyer.

We have been staying in Barmouth for years but this was our first visit to seascape.it was brilliant. Nicely done modern room very well cared for. Super friendly owner and good value for money. We have already booked to go back there in June and will be staying there more in the future

What’s not to love at this Guest House. Parking right outside either in one of the 2 parking spaces or ample on road free parking. We had room number 3 up about 20 stairs a large double room with a view of the sea. We had kettle coffee & tea (with extras in the porch if needed) biscuits & water. We had a fridge, wardrobe and draws. Big TV on the wall and a clean comfy double bed. The shower was great I loved the chairs in the bay window looking out to sea We stayed during Storm Amy and the room was still very cosy ( a bit warm for me as the heating was on when we landed ) We were within 5 mins walk to places to eat and the train station. Iceland, Co op and town centre less than 10 mins walk. I booked this guesthouse so we could visit Portmerrion which we ended up getting to the train to. I’d definitely recommend a visit. Train cost about £13 return for the two of us. I’d definitely stay again.

Welcoming host who explained all I needed to know. Room well kitted out with toiletries and drinks. Only scored good in comfort as shower was a bit of a tight squeeze for someone nearly six foot tall...

Very friendly staff, very clean room, and though it was of the mountain rather than the sea, the view out of the window was beautiful! There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the train station was a very short walk away.

I love Barmouth and usually go about twice a year. For this trip I travelled solo and stayed in a single room (I’d stayed previously when Seascape was under previous management). Room was perfect for my needs: just a place to sleep and chill out for an hour or two during the day between meals and beach walks. The room is compact but well appointed and cleaned to a high standard. The room also boasts a beautiful view of the beach and sea. Regardless of the weather it’s a real joy to have a view like this first thing in the morning when waking up. New owner is lovely, very friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be staying again and highly recommend Seascape.

Room was comfy and really clean. Bathroom was well maintained and spotless. The guest house had a fantastic location with beach and town centre only 2 minutes walk away. Although food is not available there are plenty of cafe close by. There are EV chargers a few minutes walk away but do get full mid morning. Host are friendly and happy to help. Would definitely stay again

Absolutely perfect, the rooms are spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot but the main thing was the owner and her family and friends, I had an accident on my bike during the day and unbeknown to me had concussion, without question we were invited to join the owner in their area later that evening to wait for an ambulance, my friends and myself were made to feel at home even to the point of making me hot chocolate, it felt like we'd known them for years, above and beyond what they needed to do and for that they have my utmost thanks . I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Seascape again hopefully next time I'll be a bit safer out 😁 5 stars without hesitation.

Shona and Basha made our stay very comfortable and couldnt have helped us feel more welcome. Lovely couple would highly recommend staying her and eating at the Saffron resturant in Barmouth for a beautiful meal.
