Arrived to friendly host, fantastic for the price we paid, very local to the pier give or take 3-5 mins! Takeaways opposite and the hotel staff always greet with. Smile and hello.

Staff was at hand when needed. Room was comfy as were the beds. Nice power shower with radiators on to keep the room warm. No bar or dining room. Closed due to covid. Plenty of pubs and places to eat 5 minutes away as is the sea. I would definately come again.

If im honest there wasn't much at all to complain about the only thing i would say is that some curtains as well as the blinds would help but overall a good basic room but get WiFi and curtains and it would have been great

trip was good shame about the weather . the st elmo double room was very cramped . you could'nt get to the toilet with out sqeezing round the sink and with the door open. water in bathroom is not drinkable so must take own up. shower was ok needs improving bed was very comfortble but the tv was set to high which made it un-watchable(not a bad thing when your away). breakfast was typical, with a choice of cereals and a full english breakfast. did not have much veggie options. not a bad accomidation as we only needed a place to stay. the owners make you feel very welcome.

Hotel is situated on the road opposite the South Pier. No Breakfast or a bar unfortunately but if you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful just to sleep for a night or two, then it's fine.

Very little security, there was supposed to be a key code to get through the front door… the door was never locked. I’m sure place was last decorated in the 70’s! Dirty net curtains with cigarette burns in them. No towels. Had to go to reception and ask for a toilet roll, to be given one that was literally shredded!! On a plus, the bed was comfy and the bed linen was clean. I wasn’t expecting The Ritz but for £40 a night, i did expect towels and toilet roll!!

my room was fine. my daughters room the blind was broken. so loght shone threw windows. and the bathroom light was red colour. the tv remotes did not work properly. did tell owner he listened and said he do improvements and said sorry.

It was clean ,bed was nice , , we had to ring a phone number to check in , and then was asked can you pay cash , no kettle, no remote for the tiny tv ,no chair in the room , to me this is not a b+b for holidaymakers, the people who was staying there where not there for a holiday, more like a put up for local people,
