We have just returned home from a stay at The Albert last night. Lovely, welcoming staff, checked us in and gave all info, taking our breakfast choices for the following morning. Got up to the room to find it clean and well stocked with tea/coffee and water. Breakfast was lovely and exactly what we ordered. Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Really enjoyable stay. A pub with character. Nice bedroom with all amenities to stay over. Staff can't help you enough and a lovely breakfast. Free parking a bonus. Nice garden area at rear and another at front of pub.

Lovely stay. The room (room 2) was massive and the bed comfy. The staff were really friendly. Nice pint at the bar as well. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely book again.

Lovely welcoming staff. Friendly atmosphere. Well stocked bar with plenty of seating & a beer garden. Great cooked breakfast. Everywhere well cleaned. Good spacious room with a lovely comfy bed, kettle with tea/coffee etc. hairdryer, toiletries in bathroom. Nice hot shower. We would certainly recommend & will return for another stay.

GREAT STAY WILL BOOK AGAIN The room was spacious clean and had everything we needed the breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful The live entertainment in the pub was great and it finished promptly at 11pm so we could go straight to bed after and even though the pub shuts at 12 we couldn't hear anything in the room xxxxx

We had an excellent stay whilst attending a concert at the open air theatre. The room was clean with everything you needed, a well stocked tea and coffee tray with biscuits and two bottles of water. There was also toiletries in the bathroom although we used our own. The bar itself was great, lovely choice of drinks and food. Great band were playing on the Saturday night, great friendly atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was first class, lots of choice and well cooked. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again, thanks to all the staff for their hospitality. Chris and Andy

Stayed here for one night while attending a show at the Open Air Theatre. It wasn’t the Ritz but for what we paid we weren’t expecting the Ritz! What we got was a nice clean room with what looked like a recently renovated bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast, which we pre-ordered was freshly cooked and plentiful. The Open Air Theatre was a 15-20 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend The Albert for anyone looking for post-show accommodation

Really comfy place. Room was spot on. When the gentleman showed me the room. He noticed a mark on the duvet. (It was nothing really). It looked like they’d maybe rested the vacuum on the bed & it had left a bit of dirt. The gentleman changed the duvet cover there & then. I ordered my breakfast & unfortunately I slept in. When I left I apologised & they couldn’t have been nicer about it. Spot on place , would stay again.
