We have been to this bank several times and it is always great. The rooms are clean, fully equipped, and spacious, and the cuisine is excellent. Smoked Haddock and poached eggs made for an excellent breakfast! The staff is all very friendly and helpful. What's not to like?.

A fantastic place to have a beer or watch a game. We stopped for lunch and ate inside. Some tables have small views of the harbor, and there is a spacious outdoor that allows smoking. We ate inside. The food was just fine. Somewhat odd portions that were too big and too small and oversalted. Fish pie was huge but salty. A calamari and cheese souffle appetizer had no flavor and were small. A great location to have a beer!.

The bank is a beautiful hotel that is situated in the heart of Anstruther. While there isnt any onsite parking, there are a number of places within walking distance that are free to park. There are only a few parking spaces in front of the door, and these were busy every time we were there. It is located on a major thoroughfare with a bus stop directly outside. For instance, a convenience store is close to the hotel in case youve forgotten anything. To access the main harbor front, with many lovely little shops to shop, its a short stroll. The hotel structure consists of one part of onebedroom rooms, another two rooms, and a bar, eatery, and beer gardens in the center. The room we stayed in was one of the two in the separate block. It was exceptionally clean, with a nice comfy bed, and a small private courtyard, although it did not have views of the sea. It opened into the beer garden, and it could be a little noisy until closing time. It was very modern in the bathroom, but a tall person would struggle to stand in a shower at night due to the patio door, which was the only window. There was a fan, but it would have been nicer to have the option of being open at night. Otherwise, the room had everything you could possibly need, including lovely bedding, soft towels,
