Trip towards ferry home back from weekend sporting activity. Very easy going, relaxed atmosphere no hassles - simple but comfortable room. Spent very pleasant few hours in bar with owner and local having great friendly chat on all manner of topics. Very relaxing. Great breakfast in morning to set me up for the day. Overall lovely experience and v happy to stay there again and hope too next time I’m in Scotland

Excllent VFM. Good food, good beer, proper pub atmosphere. Friendly, on-the-ball, conscientious staff. Nice rural location but easy to get to.

I stopped at The Bladnoch Inn when visiting my brother who lives in the area. I have no negative things to say about this Inn, it is excellent and the locals in the bar are very friendly. The food served is home made and absolutely delicious. Value for money = excellent Would I stay here again? = definitely

This is a charming pub with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were fantastically friendly and great to have a drink sitting next to a roaring fire. Only wish we had eaten at the restaurant as the food looked amazing! Next time! Down side was the room was twin beds and not large. But would definately go back and recommend on...

Friendly staff, great location on the banks of the Bladnoch river. Good food: I are I'm the bar, but could have used the dining room if I'd preferred. A great centre of a cycling tour of the Isle of Whithorn peninsula - and for the book shops in Wogtown!

On a Sunday, the blanch inn offers a carvery, with two options for plate sizes and a new menu. I chose a carvery and was not disappointed. A good selection of meats, vegetables, and sauces. There is a wellstocked bar separate from the two wellsized dining rooms.

Three nights spent with friends at the Blanch Inn just got back from home. This has to be one of the best small hotels in Scotland. The place is completely family-run, so derek and his sons have no issues. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and ideal for a few nights away. To be honest, we were expecting the cuisine to be some kind of standard pub food, but we were wrong. The food was great, and the guinness is breathtaking. We'll be back before the end of the year, these people know how to look after their customers. 1010 from me.

We were a group of four gunmen and the facilities were perfect, we were encouraged to ask for anything if we couldn't find it and the staff were fantastic. The owner was a great guy, and the main bartender, Jonny, was simply outstanding and had extensive local knowledge. Kristy took excellent care of us at breakfast time, and there was plenty of it, and the evening meal was really great, served by knowledgeable and friendly waiting staff. All in all, a welcoming place to stay with everything you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable. Well done, all of you, we'll be back.

I just wanted to let you know that dogs are not allowed inside due to the curfew and limited space. They were happy to serve you outside. We called there but it wasn't the best weather to sit outside. The only good thing is that I think all dog owners should know this.

I am 6'6" and currently have limited mobility following an operation. Stairs were a slight problem and i got room 3 which as someone else mentioned had sloping ceilings in parts but there were numerous 'mind your head' signs. Room was compact and clean with two single beds. Limited parking - i ended up being told to park on part of the pavement outside the inn. Owner was very helpful but seemed to be pretty stressed with everything he had to do. Bar and restaurant staff were very attentive and welcoming. Food very good. No breakfast Would i go back - probably not with my current mobility problems but i would recommend to any others
