I particularly liked that the stafff and customers of the Bridgehouse welcomed me. The place had the social feeling of what I think a good pub should be. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet too.

I will certainly stay here again. Thank you for your lovely stay. Very pleasant greeting from the owner. He gave me a single room instead of a double room, which was 20 per night cheaper but still had a double bed. It was a really nice room, back of the hotel, away from the road. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Everything you needed was here, so there are no complaints. The breakfast was good except for the chip shop sausages, which weren't very nice. The staff was pleasant and polite.

I've been going to this location for at least the past 5 years and have come back every 36 months. It had been a while, and I had hope that the food would still be tasty, as I had suggested to an older picky friend! Oh my gosh, it was successful! The roast was served on a Thursday. First of all, it looked so fresh that I could see juices flowing from the pork joint as the chef was carving, as well as the turkey with different knives and the size of the yorkshire pudding. I'm impressed with the superb food and welcoming staff, well done brighouse. I'm not going back there for that reason and the clearly frozen vegetables, but that's another story. But it's less than 1 cheaper than the freshness of this place, which provides a lot of meat. Anyway, between the tender, juicy meat, fresh, and vibrant vegetables, and the meaty gravy that fills your lungs, I'm not sure how else to express it, but hurry up! And also the moist, yet dense roast potatoes, delicious. Excellent food and helpful staff, well done from the brighouse.

Great value for money, clean, tidy hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The room was very comfortable and well-stocked. Breakfast is delicious with fresh quality food cooked to order. There is a friendly staff and a reasonable bar very close to the train station.

I booked a table over the phone, very friendly. We both had carvery. It must have been the best carvery I have ever had! Well cooked meat with a great gravy. The addition of red cabbage and cauliflower cheese was fantastic.
