Really pleased with the room, only 2 things were needing fixed. The toilet light flickered and bulb needs changed as showering in a strobe light is not great. Also I could not get the shower to get hot water on 2nd morning perhaps a clear procedure of how to operate the shower would help. Was not ideal at sub zero water temps this morning but I’m sure it would not take too much to make it easier to follow.

I was at the hotel mainly for the purpose of keeping my luggage while I traveled to Edinburgh and returned for my return trip out of the UK the following day. It is more of a lodge than a hotel with few rooms. The room is highly functional with almost everything you need provided within the small space. It is not a quiet place as the ground floor is divided between the restaurant and a noisy bar.

Good location, friendly staff and check in. Room was outdated, bathroom ceiling all moldy (see picture)and shower in general poor condition. Soap holder was full of mildew/mould. Was a one off visit due to poor availability on dates but would not book again in future
