We have stayed here before, our third time now. Here in Saltash to visit my brothers and this weekend, Saltash Regatta! As the Brunel is located in the high street, it has all the facilities built in around it.

My husband and I stayed at The Brunel Inn over the May bank holiday weekend. You get what you pay for. Yes it's a little old but the room is clean and comfortable. The managers Sally and Alan are friendly and happy to help. It is warm and quiet. We made this visit for 3 nights and our base to explore Cornwall which was brilliant. There are shops around the corner, takeaways and free parking.

Excellent value for money! A good base for seeing the local area, bordering Devon and Cornwall. Basic accommodation with a light breakfast if required for a minimal amount and an invitation to bring back a takeaway to eat in the bar if we chose. We ate in a local restaurant which was extremely good!

Great selection at the bar , fabulous chef , bedrooms very clean and lovely comfortable bed , not a lot of power in the shower , room a bit tired . Overall a good stay
