The room was very clean and the room was great for us. Comfortable bed and the service and breakfast was filling. The Courtyard Guest House was great not far to walk to the sea front and restaurants

Fantastic stay. Room was great - well equipped, comfortable, well decorated and clean. Service was fantastic too - incredibly friendly, welcoming, helpful, and also incredibly accommodating to this vegan. All for an excellent price. 10/10 across the board.

We stayed at The Courtyard Guest House for a long weekend at beginning of June 2019 in a family room. Room was spacious and clean with generous condiments, there was fridge and kettle. Breakfast is cooked to order and owner are very flexible with modifications, food was delicious made with local products. Owners are lovely and very helpful. There is on the street parking, ask owner for a free permit. Thank you for making our stay pleasant! Highly recommend The Courtyard Guest House :)

Stayed in Room 1 on the ground floor - Very clean uptodate room with ensuite, TV, good Wifi and small fridge, located less than 5 minutes from sea front and amusements, but surprisingly quiet area. Run by a lovely helpful couple, breakfast was included and was great. Booked this at short notice so didn't know what to expect, but this was a very lucky find and I would definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious and clean, the hosts very welcoming and the location perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone. We had the top room with the balcony, which I’d particularly recommend.

We had a family room at the courtyard which was tastefully decorated and good facilities including small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and even some delicious biscuits, hot chocolate, water and squash. WiFi was free but not that great. Bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean as was the entire room. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a selection of cereal, fruit, toast and jams and cooked breakfast options which appeared to be good quality and well cooked. Overall, for the price bracket this guest house is excellent value for money and we would return without hesitation.

The courtyard guest house is a wonderful spot to stay. The owners are wonderful hosts and the breakfast is the best ever. Their sausages are the best I've ever tasted. The rooms are immaculate, and the beds are very comfy. Fresh milk, delicious biscuits, tea, and coffee are available in the room. When you arrive, they make sure that everything is perfect for you. Every day, there are also new bottles of water in the fridge. The shower gel and shampoo that they give are gorgeous. Lovely hand soap as well. I've been going there for the last seven years. It's in a perfect location, and they even give you free parking near the I and I. Each time, I give this I and I 10 out of 10. I'm thankful for another wonderful two nights stay. See you all again next year.

This lovely guest house was a nice small find. From the moment you arrived, the hosts smiled cheerfully, and they even carried our bags up the stairs! The room was spotlessly clean, with a view of the ocean, a really comfortable bed, a pleasant bathroom and shower, fresh milk in the fridge for a cup of tea, usb outlets, a full length mirror, and everything you could want in a room. Breakfast was delicious and all freshly cooked, with fresh coffee and delicious bread used for the toast, which I would recommend. The hosts are really welcoming and make you feel quite at home. in my opinion. Five stars.
