Room was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and made me feel relaxed and safe (solo traveller). The room was very quiet which I appreciated.

Lovely hosts and stay. Room was nice, tidy and close enough to the centre for a short walk in to town, far enough away that it avoids any of the noise from a busy Saturday night in Sheffield.

We stayed here for a night and couldn't rate it higher, specifically the 2 managers who were welcoming and accommodating from walking up the drive. Very much a family feel atmosohere - will be staying here again. No complaints

This hotel is fantastic. It is very clean and cozy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a room for 4 people that was very spacious. The bathroom, while small, is very modern and clean. It takes around 20 minutes to walk into the city center or 3 to 5 depending on the time of day with uber.

Overall, good, but I probably wouldn't return. The property is promoted on the website as a hotel, but it is more resembled a guest house. When we arrived, there was no one to let us in. We called a number, which gave us another number to call. Neither was answered immediately. After a 10-15 minute delay someone did come and let us in and call us back, but you would expect a manned reception in a hotel. The room was lacking in bits and pieces youd expect no hairdryer, no hook in the bathroom, so nowhere to put your towel, and the room was very small, even in comparison to something like a premier inn. It didn't appear like it would be possible to leave your luggage before checkin time or after check out, as youd anticipate in a hotel.

The location is located close to the city center, within walking distance, and at a good location, with lush greenery and lovely architecture. The employees here were really very helpful. In the restaurant, there are also good foods and drinks.

For four people, we reserved a family room. There appeared to be a shared room reception in the spacious home. Two single beds and a double bed were in our spacious room. The assurance was that everything was spotless, but the double bed was uncomfortable because the mattress had been composed of foam. The gentleman who greeted us upon arrival advised us to go upstairs and take the information from the router because the information in the room regarding so fi was incorrect. Yet, the wifi didn't work. That night's heavy rain caused a leak in the room. It wasn't the first or second time that there was water dripping onto the skirting board. People came to their room at three in the morning, woke us up. We could not find anyone when checking out, not because there is no reception. We browsed through the different floors, made a search online for the location number, and indicated we were leaving. Nobody was visible. No contact information.

A conveniently placed bed for a couple of nights while visiting family. Nice to have the choice of no breakfast! and the manager Kay was very helpful and quick to answer any questions.

The hotel is lovely but coukd do with a few tweaks here and there. My window wouldnt close, towel rail was hanging on for dear life and nowhere to put shower gel/soap in the shower. Could do with a mini shelf in the shower. My room was next to a little utilities room containing a microwave, washings machine, dryer etc. This wad not great due to a couple deciding to do their washing at midnight. I was woken by the door violently rattling, i was literally scared the crap out of me and took me a couple of hours to get back to sleep. The staff were lovey and the hotel was very clean. I feel sorry for the owners because you can tell the surrounding area was once lovely but walking there from the train station, i felt i was not safe at all. Very much an eye opener of the decline of this county but this isnt the hotels fault obviously. The hotel has a bus stop outside that takes you to the city centre in 10 minutes which is very convenient. There's a Tesco a few minutes walk away which is very convenient. Lots of tea, coffee and milk available in the room which is a bonus. Usually not that many in hotel rooms and the mugs were a decent size as well. Soaps, shower gel, shampoos and conditioner provided also.

The space was fantastic! It’s very much an extended cottage, and is warm and cozy! The host was very responsive, and went out to purchase a few additional amenities at our request. Very responsive host. One drawback is that there were a few bits that seemed to have been “missed” in terms of cleaning. There were a couple drawers filled with old packaging and garbage, kitchen items had a layer of grease covering them, downstairs bathroom had beard trimmings inside. I do, however, still recommend the stay. It was overall a good experience

Room clean but strange smell in bathroom and loose tap on sink. Very little room to hang or store anything. Pictures of eating and drinking area are very misleading since they don’t appear to exist.

We were given a warm welcome. The room was spotless, albeit rather small.
