Great stay, cleanliness was second to none, dined in both evenings and the dinners were excellent. Good choice of beer and wines at reasonable prices. Just one small criticism, dining rooms and corridors and bedroom all on the chilly side, although there was an extra heater in our room, which we did have to use.

We stayed at The Fountain Inn for a few nights, and couldn't rate it highly enough! The bedrooms were comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food for both breakfast and dinner was great. We would definitely stay here again.

As soon as you walk through the door you can sense that your stay is going to be an enjoyable one. Greeted with a friendly smile we were taken to our room through clean and tidy corridors. Nice room clean and tidy. We liked the food and the choice of ales very good. WiFi good at the Inn, but if you go outside no service at all. Lots of interesting local history around the walls to be perused. Visited several local attractions in the wonderful forest of dean.

A lovely country Inn on the edge of the Forrest of Dean. Lovely friendly owner and staff. Good home cooked food, both breakfast and evening meals highly enjoyed. I would recommend. The only slight negative was that the mattress in room 9 was a bit on the thin side, but i still slept well.

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at the Fountain Inn. We were made to feel very welcome and Courtney was outstanding. The food was excellent, even if on the second evening the service was a little slow, presumably because it was baking hot that day. We would gladly recommend this little Inn to everyone.

We were on a short staycation of 5 days and found this to be an ideal place to rest. The room was perfect for our needs with good wifi and tv. The food was excellent with breakfast being particularly good - the choice was great and you could choose everything on the list if you felt inclined. The dinner menu was varied and the quality of the food was great. Terrific staff who were all eager to assist. Great beer. Thank you Michelle!
