The hotel was lovely, our room was lovely and the view was breathtaking, but it was downhill after we went to our evening meal, 6 people and 4 of us ordered different meals, unfortunately, I chose lasagna and chips, which came in its own dish with a serving of chips in a basket, it looked good, but when I started eating the lasagne and got through to the mince beef under the cheese, it was very dry with no sauce and actually burned on one end, it seemed to me that the bean had been in it's little container in the oven for too long, I ate about 14 times, but when the waitress came around to ask if everything was okay, I had to tell her no and sent it back, she did offer another lasagna, but I really didn't want to eat another main meal, the I think manager came over a while later and asked general if everything was ok, I told her the same, there was basically no response, no apologies, no offer of a free dessert or glass of wine, which I believe most places would have offered, this was the one meal I had sent back in a restaurant in my 60 odd yrs. I have to say when the rest of my party arrived, they ordered a full breakfast, but after seeing my egg, 2 of them were scrambled anyway, and with the ones

After experiencing a wonderful sunday lunch here on a previous trip to the region, I decided to stay at the Albert Hotel. Although the executive twin room was a little small, the executive twin room had a stunning sea view. Excellent amenities throughout and a relaxing lounge area with a cozy fireplace. Excellent, nutritious, and delectable dinner and breakfast, plus a lot of it. The pricing is excellent. I've never had such a huge, full English breakfast! The personnel was all also extremely welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend the Albert Hotel and Flat Rock Bistro. A much more individual touch than the cliff hotel where we had previously slept.

My first stop on the ceredigion coast path. Just the job after my walk from cardigan. Fantastic position with a decent view even from the economy room maybe I got an upgrade. Top quality breakfast set me up for the next day.
