The view over the painted front facades and roof tops of the Victorian houses further down in West Hill gave way to the sea and sky on the horizon. There was a gentle breeze coming in from the window cooling the high temperature of the day. The external lighting of the grounds was turned off around about the time I went to bed, so there was no light intrusion from outside - which was great. The clean, modern hard laminate style flooring in the room was clean and well maintained, with carpeted communal areas for sound proofing. Very nice welcome, comfortable double bed. Slept very well. The ensuite shower in my room was small, attractive and very clean. It looked recently updated with metro tiles and new flooring, the water pressure was excellent. Parking on the premises was easy.

I stayed in a basic room which was more than adequate. The bed was super comfy. There was also plenty of tea and coffee. The room was nice and clean. I would definitely return.

The 1876 property was in wonderful shape, the room had lots of channels on TV, and the staff was friendly and informative. And it was only a short walk to the seaside. My stop in St'. Leonard's!

We came down for a funeral and had phoned to see if we could check in earlier as funeral was at 2 .30 and was told that would be fine Thankyou 👍😃 later in the evening me and my son went and checked out an alley way which took us to a lovely part of the beach 🏖

I have stayed here a few times and have always had a great time, all the staff are friendly and helpful, the room has been cleaned and the breakfast is good, the parking could be better but for the price and also there is free parking not to far away it’s well worth a visit
