This is a very good value hotel currently being refurbished which is being well managed. The homemade food here as well is really good and the breakfast is also great. I would recommend here to anyone as it is just a great local pub with homely rooms where service is important. I will stop again next time I’m in the area as it’s also great to walk into the town. Car park is a tad small but the managers make sure it’s managed when possible

This was our second visit to this hotel. The couple running the hotel were very helpful, and allowed us to leave our luggage early so we could continue our weekend. The room we had was excellent, very large, clean, very warm and comfortable. Check-in, and out, was really easy. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and would use again if back in Chippy.

Amazing room. Didn’t have much interaction with staff, but were friendly and helpful when I did. The room was amazing if you are looking for a room with character and history, exposed stone and beams. We got the big family room with the loft, it was nice to have a private space from the kids. The town is nice, a good location from which to explore from

It’s a great little place to stay. I would rather support places like this than go to major chains who don’t give a monkeys about you or your stay. It’s an old building and you get the character when you stay. As with everything you find what you’re looking for. You want to complain you’ll find something to complain about. It’s good for a short trip. Downside mattress was old and needs replaced. Other than that it’s English and it’s old and I loved it.

Just stayed one night as visiting family in Chipping Norton. Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean, very comfortable, close to our family's home and the village has lovely gift shops and tea rooms as well as supermarkets and a department store. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would stay there again and would highly recommend.
