Me and my partner stayed for the weekend and enjoyed the hotel which was very spacious and the bed was comfy. The food in the pub was also amazing and would definitely book again

The room was spatious, clean and had all the basic amenities. I was pleasantly surprised considering the price and I'd definately stay again when I'm in the area. Food in the pub was also smashing, decently priced homemade food and you get a generous serving. Service was quick and staff friendly.

I have stayed in numerous low-cost hotels, and the difference will often be between the personnel and the owners, both of whom were very friendly and helpful in eliminating food from the menu when I arrived late to the hotel. The hotel is of a fair standard in terms of price, and the rooms are tidy and useful. The bar is clean, with a very nice pint of lawless available when I have stayed, the food is well-prepared, and the service is quick but not fast enough that it makes you feel rushed out. At the price I wouldn't complain and would be pleased to suggest the hotel.

I will definitely return to this hotel. What an excellent value for the money this hotel is. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. I also ate at the restaurant. The food options and quality of the food were very good and the staff was very friendly. A swim and sauna followed by a full english breakfast finished the visit in style.

We asked for only a drink and really liked the railway-themed interior. Real ale was excellent and on our second visit we felt very comfortable in the leather chesterfields. Although some of the lagers were sold out, I think that reflects how busy they must have been the previous night.

This is above a pub 2 minutes from the station. Eaglescliffe is a nice place to stay though there isn't much around the station to look at. The hotel is a bit basic but clean and good value for money.

Lady doing check in was lovely , super friendly and helpful . Couple of issues resolved quickly after a few laughs . TV positioning and size bizarre . Would recommend displaying WIFI login details in the rooms in future . Room needs a bin , not just a bathroom bin . Good close parking, big spacious room with a nice comfy sofa . Lots of potential in room , but in need of updating .

The hotel is connected to a pub/restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food we had for dinner was excellent. We stayed here because we needed a dog friendly place to stay for the night and it was the closest to our meeting we had. The bed was super comfy the only problem was the bathroom and shower were unheated so it was very cold to go in there. But that being said we had a good night sleep and that is what we needed from our stay.
