My son and I spent two nights here in a family suite. The hotel is very cozy, and the view from our room of the sea is breathtaking. The owner was very warm, friendly, and accommodating to our needs. My son loved the proximity to all the amusements on the pier. I will come back and stay again!.

In August while on a business trip to Clayton, I stayed at this hotel for one night. It was a really pleasant stay. My room had an en suite bath and a large, comfortable bed. There were a ton of towels and bathroom soaps available. The room also received excellent views of the sea. The staff took care of me during my stay. In the morning, an excellent breakfast was served, which I enjoyed in the lovely dining area. I had discussions with the owner over the course of the following year about his exciting plans for the hotel. I see Melrose growing to be a very attractive option for anyone thinking about staying in Clayton.

The place is pleasant and friendly. The room was comfortable, some had sea view, and a pet was welcome. Breakfast was freshly prepared to order with lots of variety. Nice lounge and bar if you want to enjoy a drink before bed. This is a must-see!
