I really appreciate this hotel. We just got back from a weekend getaway at Moon Inn and we cannot praise it enough, the staff is wonderful, Leah Ziggy and Donna took care of us all and made us all feel very welcome, the food was delicious, the rooms were so comfortable and the locals were so friendly thank you to everyone, Russian Donna ex.

The room was good, but you had to get there by walking outside and up some steep stairs which weren't good when raining. The bar in the pub was comfortable, but the bar staff needs more training. Breakfast was ok. The outside of fabhotel and car park need good cleaning, the smell was a bit off on arrival.

Overall, it's a lovely pub. But I'm not sure I'll return because the mold and surroundings made us feel unkempt. The pub itself is ok, we've only been there for a few drinks, but the bartenders were helpful enough. When we were shown to our room, there was a very rusty smell and it was certainly basic. We then went into the bathroom, and while it appeared clean, it could use a refreshment and a window as there is some mold on the ceiling, which is obviously due to a lack of ventilation, which also created a smell. Both in the morning and evening, the water also took a long time to heat up before we took a shower. We went to breakfast in the morning and were impressed. There was a lot of cereal and fruit, but there was only one cooked breakfast option - a full English and croissants. The service was excellent and one of the ladies was extremely courteous and was out of her way to help us. She made sure we were pleased and didn't want anything replaced in the room, and I'm sure if we had said yes, this wouldn't be a problem.

This quaint old pub, which recently underwent renovations, has been home to several unique features. Our accommodation was cozy, spotlessly tidy, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We stayed in the roomy, comfortable nook. The evening meal was strongly suggested and had dinner prepared fresh to order, particularly fillet pork, sirloin steak, and salmon en route. Unfortunately, we were overstuffed for dessert! Overall, we had a wonderful time thanks to the friendly and helpful personnel. The location is ideal for farewell, chatsworth, etc. Enjoy!
