Perfect location and spotlessly clean. We had a lovely big room with sea views, (see picture), king sized comfortable bed and bay window with arm chairs and coffee table, which added to the ambience. A lovely stay for my birthday, thank you

Clean, quiet and lots of free on-site parking. Wi-fi is not great but the restaurant is fabulous. Well cooked, piping hot food and with plenty of choice. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant manager (or head waiter, I'm not sure). My only moan is that it is not obvious how you get to reception! For 1st time visitors - looking at the front of the building it is down the right hand side. Great location overlooking the beach and close to the pier.

We had a wonderful night, the room was huge, the bed was big and comfortable, the bathroom was large too, the room was realy clean. Complementary tea, coffee,hot chocolate and biscuits were also in the room. A trouser press was in the room if needed. Breakfast was included, if what you wanted wasnt on the menu and was a reasonable ask, they did it for you. We are going back for another stay later this year. Oh i nearly forgot, if you wanted to use the spa it would only cost an extra £5, treatments were extra. Thank you so much for our lovely evening and morning. See you soon.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay right on the front and opposite the pier. A short stroll into town. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous and nothing was too much. The dining and breakfast was very nice and plentiful. The pool and fitness centre was an excellent bonus. Will definitely stay again.

I booked a 5 night break at the end of November. A few days before arrival I received a phone call advising me of a special offer to have dinner at the hotel for £15 a night rather than £25 for the 5 course Table D’hote, which I took up, effectively making my stay half board. On arrival I was told that as I was half board I could use the pool/gym/sauna facilities free (effectively saving me the £5 per night charge!). The staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. The evening meal was really very good, the menu changed every night and was really good value. The breakfast menu was also varied, not just “full English” which was very welcome There was entertainment in the hotel which was also enjoyable. I used the pool every day and also the sauna/steam room a few times. The hotel is clean & comfortable, there are many original features in the public areas and later additions are sympathetic to the original Victorian architecture. I enjoyed my stay very much and I am looking to return some time in 2022.
