I cant praise this hotel enough. Everyone of the staff and the owner were fantastic. The food was excellent and my room also. If are ever in this area, please at least go for a meal. You wont be disappointed.

Very cosy country pub, the room was great Very clean and a lovely king size comfy bed. The evening meal was very good with a good choice on the menu. Not forgetting the breakfast in the morning spot on.

Alison was an amazing host! So friendly and happy to accommodate. Hotel and restaurant were very clean and well-appointed. Bar/restaurant staff were wonderful. Everyone made us feel very at home.

Room 5. Stayed 1 night. On site free parking. Lovley room. Could hear the music from the restaurant in the evening and morning. Good wifi. Lovley breakfast and evening meal. Tea coffee biscuit water and hot chocolate. No refrigerator. Towels smelt nice. Would return

I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight experience at the Parson Woodforde , the welcome was warm the room smart , tidy and a good size ( small bathroom ) The views were OK and the bed was too soft ( for me) . What stood out for me was my evening meal . I have had better , a memorable theatrical restaurant in Santiago or in Jersey with a Michelin star but never had i had such a delicious country fare as the Duo of Wild Rabbit ,( with parma ham, + confit leg with a garlic & rosemary potato terrine buttered chantenay carrots , black pudding crumble & cumberland sauce) that I enjoyed here and at a very reasonable price to boot. Followed by a skillful selection of cheeses from around the UK ... Heavenly. Retireing to my room with anticipation of the morning and wondering what breakfast would bring. This turned out to be an anti-climax after the previous nights delights however forgivable all things considered . In summery , its a nice place to stay with the bonus of and exceptional kitchen and good service . don't miss it.

Superb location with large car parks. From arrival to departure the staff could not have been more helpful. The food and drink were excellent, a varied choice on the menu and a great range of beers. The rooms are modern, contemporary and very well equipped. A very high level of cleanliness is apparent throughout the premises. Highly recommend and I look forward to returning soon.

Room 3. Parking in the pub grounds felt safe. Bed comfortable. Bathroom small but fine. Nice and clean. Room felt safe. Staff helpful. Food very nice. No aircon but fan. Also ceiling window. Wifi good. Tea coffee hot chocolate water and biscuits. No fridge. Breakfast was good. Allyson the owner and staff very covid aware. Temperature taken. Etc. Fire awareness and mini fire drill on checkin. Would stay again

We had a fabulous Stay of two nights good COVID safety in place service excellent all staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful nothing was too much trouble any time of the day. We had dinner the first night excellent food highly recommend eating there. We were out with family the second evening came back and Allison had saved a cheese board for us as promised. The Room was lovely, and the bathroom, plenty of towels tea and coffee and water. We were encouraged to ask for anything if we needed it Plenty of parking on site and a nice outside area for eating and drinking. Breakfast was really good and plentiful We had a very relaxing time and We would definitely stay here again.
