Obviously an older property, but one that neatly combined classic features with modern touches. Our room, the "crime suite", was quirky, but nonetheless welcoming under the gaze of life-size photo representations of Scottish crime-writers like Ian Rankine. Equally pleasing, the bathroom was large and superbly appointed. All the staff we encountered were friendly and diligent and the breakfast fare, including gluten-free for my wife, was excellent. A top-notch stay in a classy hotel.

Sehr sauberes Zimmer und super freundliches Personal. Außerdem ist die Lage super, weil man in unter 20 Minuten zu Fuß in der Innenstadt ist. Wir hatten nur einmal Frühstück. Die Auswahl am Buffet war überschaubar, aber man konnte noch von einer Karte Gerichte extra bestellen, die im Preis inkludiert waren.

We stayed for 3 nights and had the breakfast which was really filling, great value and delicious. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The bar area is lovely and there is a terrace for when the weather is nice, location wise it's really great, not far from the Royal Mile but far enough so it wasn't too hectic. Transportation is practically on your doorstep from buses to trams. Would recommend for families and for solo travellers. Honestly can't fault.

Brilliant location, right by the tram and a large shopping centre and food court. Short walks to most areas. Staff were super friendly upon arrival and looked after our bags until check in. They were helpful giving us advice on where to go. They also helped us package up a box of items to send back home. We had an issue with the tv but again, the staff member came to help us out which was appreciated. The room was on the 3rd floor but had everything we needed and the view was an absolute bonus! I would recommend a stay here.

Nice hotel and excellent location! All the city's major attractions, services, restaurants and public transport are within a short walk. The staff was very friendly and the hotel breakfast was good. Our room was small but warm. The bed was only 140cm but that was ok. We warmly recommend this accommodation.

Ik heb zelf niet veel met parkeren te maken gehad omdat ik niet met de auto daar was. Er waren voor zover ik zag geen directe parkeerplekken aan de voorzijde. Wél was het hotel direct gelegen aan de trambaan en halte. Zeer gemakkelijk te bereiken vanaf de luchthaven.
