I was in a room in the old part of the hotel it had a lot of character was clean with a walk in shower. Staff were pleasant and friendly, location was great and the lowest price for a room in Tonbridge. I would stay there again.

Very comfortable. Only complaint is the number of stairs to get to the rooms caring luggage. Not suitable for the elderly even if not carrying luggage.

Nice single room. Lovely and clean. However, a Summer quilt in the middle of Winter is not sufficient to keep your guests toasty! I do believe your written gumph stated that extra blankets were available. When I asked at reception I was told they were not. I was given a lovely warm heater though but this was not practical to have on all night, as you got too hot. So no happy medium for Room No 2! The answer lays in 15 tog quilt. Then I will come again and give you 5 stars! Parking is fantastic though and it is a brilliant hotel for exploring Tonbridge with as is so central. I would definitely recommend a visit and for £63, you definitely cant go wrong!

An overnight stay en route to the West Country. All members of staff were very helpful and Receptionist was welcoming and informative. The hotel and my room was comfortable, well appointed and clean. Being situated in the high street, the hotel is convenient for access to Tonbridge town centre, the park and castle and an ideal centre for exploring the local countryside. Highly recommended.

We stayed here last year and loved it so booked again and added an extra night. From booking in to checking out the staff were amazing and helpful. The bed was so comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will book again next year.

The Rose and Crown is in a great location for central Tonbridge. I have had a bad experience in the past with the Best Western Group - It would appear the hotels are in great need of maintenance and refurbishment & furniture upgrade. The Staff however at the Rose and crown were exceptionally helpful - from the reception (checkin/out) which was very smooth - free car parking, the night porter & bar staff all very helpful and friendly. The Full English breakfast was one of the best I have had anywhere (well done to the chef) cooked to perfection. I did have a moth problem in my room which I pointed out and the electric extractor fan in the bathroom was so noisy - i left on by mistake and it woke me up ! Otherwise the stay was very good and would go back !

I love staying at the Rose and Crown. It is an older building not a modern air conditioned office block style hotel but it has a charm and history. A fantastic location on the High Street to access shops bars and restaurants. I will be back - look forward
