Generally, i want to thank the staff to always make sure that my meal is good, as was the food, which was very delicious. The chicken terrine was excellent, and I think this one needs some improvement. The meal was freshly prepared. For me, pickled mushrooms were a first and very tasty combination. The chicken broth was excellent.

I reserved two nights because my husband had booked a day surgery at a nearby hospital and it was too far to get home right away. I was concerned about driving from the hospital to the hotel because the road was unfamiliar, it was dark, and it was pouring. Nicky contacted us to request a local taxi firm to collect us. Nicky immediately offered to come and take us and was available quite quickly. After we arrived, we were able to dial in our meal order, which would be ready as soon as it was quite late and my husband had not been eating all day. The meal and breakfast the following morning were both delicious. Our hosts, nicky pete, and georgia, were wonderful and accommodating. Nicky ran me back to the hospital to collect the vehicle the following day, and would not accept any payment for going above and beyond. Many thanks to you all. If anyone else is looking for a warm and helpful place to stay while visiting Benenden Hospital, please look at the Royal Oak hawkhurst.

The food was excellent, and the rooms had everything we needed. I really liked my stay for a couple of nights in May for a nearby wedding. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. A little bit of decor could have been updated, but that didn't really bother us, as the friendly service more than made up for it.

I was welcomed by Georgia, who was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food was excellent and I highly recommend it for an impromptu visit. They accommodated a strict vegetarian and we all left completely satisfied and happy.

This place is recommended, and I recommend this place to others. We had a good experience while eating here after a hard cold and rainy day. The employees were welcoming and nice. The menu is traditional with a few nice twists. The pie of the day is homemade and huge and amazing. The crust is filled with meat and perfectly seasoned. This is the best pie I've had in a long time. All the other food looks good and is eaten quickly.
