We stayed for 4 nights and could not fault the hotel,staff or the food . Staff really friendly and took time to speak to us. We had breakfast and evening meal each day...we could not fault any meal

Great welcome and service from all the staff. I had a small single room and it was just perfect and great value for money. Dinner and were excellent but portions are large so order carefully if you want to have dessert. Fabulous find - I’ll be back

The staff were all exceptional from the welcome we received and the dinner and breakfast service. The room was clean and spacious. The shower really needs updating but difficult in the tight space available. Spotlessly clean with tasteful furnishings and a well stocked tea tray

Upgraded to a lovely double room, great breakfasts and bar food and a big selection of local whiskeys. Staff were always smiling, chatty and helpful. Will be booking again in the Autumn. :) Just noticed the photo there was my room.... number 8. Views of the sea out of both windows.

I stay at the Royal Oak every time I visit Cullen. Rooms are lovely, staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is excellent . It's a real gem.

I had a lovely stay, the staff were really friendly, and breakfast was really nice, I had the eggs and salmon because you don’t often get that option. I also had 2 lovely cups of coffee using in the fancy machine in my room. I also noticed there were the little cartons of Soya milk which I thought was a great touch.

We visited during a heatwave. Hotel only 2 minutes from a beautiful sandy beaches. Went there every morning and evenings during our two nights stay. It is a traditional Scottish hotel so unfortunately did not have air-conditioning, but we didn't expect to have that, and it did not effect our enjoyment. Room was well equipped, with coffee pods etc, and kettle. Large 42 inch tv. Staff very friendly.

Friendly, welcoming staff on arrival. Great room with good views. Ate in the restaurant, not a fancy menu but good food. Not far from village, comfy night and incredible breakfast. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely boutique hotel backing onto the A98 at Cullen and almost in the shadow of the magnificent Cullen Viaduct. Walkable in minutes to the most stunning beach and also to many scenic bays along the exciting coastal path to Findlater Castle (and further: we walked to Findlater Castle, then took a taxi back to the hotel). Wonderful restaurant downstairs. Perfect cooked-to-order breakfasts. The most kind and helpful staff that we met on our holiday. Cullen is a beautiful place and the hotel staff here were extremely welcoming.
