If your cuisine does not live up to your expectations, it doesn't matter how delicious it is. Both on the food and service front, The Shears Inn is a top choice with me. The sunday roast beef we had this time was just amazing quality, with exceptional trimmings and presentation. I have worked in the restaurant industry for the last ten years, and these guys are doing everything correctly. Well done, and we will return.

Due to a non-couid family illness, I had to postpone my birthday meal until before christmas. Today I returned and had a wonderful meal. Friendly, pleasant, and friendly staff, delectable fresh food. Can't complain, and will definitely be back. What a lovely pub to call a local. I personally work in pubs, so I understand how difficult the industry is at the moment, but that certainly didn't look like it did tonight!.

What a fantastic pub. Excellent cuisine, beautiful setting, and friendly personnel. We had a wonderful evening. The menu has plenty of choices, and the food was excellent. With a very wide and intriguing wine list. And they are all reasonably priced too. Will undoubtedly return.

We spent two nights at the shears inn in March. This hotel was beautiful and unique in the 1600 s. Over the pub, there are six rooms. Our guests were helpful and took care of us in every way. The ensure room was cozy and cute. You could stay anywhere, but staying here is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the local history. The reason is that you can stay anywhere, and that is what you can't go wrong with that. I enjoyed the atmosphere and location, and I hope to stay here again in the future.
