We are local to the hotel and stayed here for a few nights whilst some work was done on our home. We pop in frequently for breakfast anyway as it’s excellent value and very customisable, but found the room & service to be very good as well!

Great find in the heart of Shepton, with a nice bar area, garden and breakfast. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms were also spacious and clean.

Nice clean room with a sumptuous duvet (although I was told that room 101 was the last room to have one like that). Friendly and helpful staff. There's a Morrisons Local convenience store within 1 minute walk. The only drawbacks were the rather mean check-out time of 10am and the lack of double glazing meaning that the odd lorry on the A361 immediately outside were occasionally disturbing for a light sleeper in the morning after about 7am.

We were warmly welcomed and all the staff were hard working and friendly. The hotel is in a central position with parking. We enjoyed a home cooked evening meal and a good breakfast. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were in the area.
