Excellent location for Anfield events. Hotel is clean, modern and the gentlemen on reception was professional, friendly and helpful. Room had a iron & ironing board (helpful if you're dressing more formal) and the only small criticism I can mention is the bath towels - clean & soft but a little on the small side!.. Local area didn't feel 'un-safe', but like many large cities, just have your wits about you as it's bustling.. On-street parking available and a small pub joined to the hotel that opens in the evening with friendly locals and good conversation. Would not hesitate to book again.
