Certainly not a place I would want to stay with elderly or young people at risk of falling. We stayed in Milan for two nights, and we found the rooms pleasant, but there were a few flaws. I'm okay with the hollandaise sauce, but the stairs are not a drawback. The personnel was welcoming and helpful. Both at check-out and when serving breakfast, both were excellent. The fry-up, coffee, and juices were excellent, as was the service. The shower was excellent. Excellent value for money, especially considering the included breakfast on the weekend. The room was not neat enough. There were toenails left on the floor. There was food packaging from previous guests on the bed. The couch was reek of crumbs. I don't anticipate it to be tidy, but it appeared to have just been mopped in a while. Given the pandemic, this isn't very well and should be changed right away. Only movements turn the bathroom light on. At night, this means a long-running lighten if someone uses it. Ours didn't turn off for a while until we realized one of the towels was keeping it on as it was hung. Annoying. not necessarily a disadvantage, but be mindful of the spiral staircase. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. It could have been fantastic with a little bit more thought about the details, but the price we received was satisfactory. We reserved a room for the night and a dinner table, and overall we were unimpressed. The pub makes a good first impression, and we were greeted warmly and led to our room. The rooms are compact and located on two levels and have a very narrow spiral staircase. The room has several pleasant features, including a lovely shower room with a very great shower, a comfortable bed with comfortable bedding and a nice mattress, and a large tea and coffee maker, all of which were excellent. The restaurant's dinner was excellent and extremely busy on Tuesday evening. The cuisine and menu were excellent, and the service was excellent. We both had delicious pizzas, and after our meal, we were extremely happy. We decided to return to our room to get a restful night's sleep. It was pleasant and quiet. It is a little disappointing that brunch is only available on weekends during the week, but the website made it quite clear, so we knew we had to go out for breakfast. We merely departed with the key in the room and headed off on our way, because the pub was all locked up in darkness, and checkout is rather early before dawn.

We had a lovely onenight stay in midweek. The room was very clean, very compact, and very well thought out with amenities. Excellent shower. The bathroom light is automatic off. I believe one of the other guest rooms somehow left their fan on for a steady humming until just before midnight. Very comfortable bed. Near a relatively busy village road, but noise wasnt significant. As other guests have pointed out, the spiral staircase is very narrow and may be challenging for some. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. A pub liked by both locals and visitors, it was surprisingly busy midweek. The food came very quickly, fresh cooked asparagus and broad bean risotto. Midweek there was no breakfast included, but the website clarified that and a beautiful tearoom tea and coffees a 510minute walk away from the village that serves a very reasonable breakfast.
