The checkin process was quick and easy as I come back to the bar with my friends who were also staying at 8 to be told that the bar should have been closed an hour earlier but as they were waiting for another guest we could have a drink. Another round was bought and we assumed we could sit in the bar for the evening. Half an hour later the landlady? came over and told us we had to leave because they were locking the place up for the night. Our request to remain where we were was denied and we were told in no uncertain terms that we would have to leave. We exchanged several words! In the end, fair enough, we were given the keys to a larger bedroom and a couple of bottles of wine and enjoyed what was left of the evening. If you are going to close that early especially for guests, you should say so at the booking stage. Expecting to have a drink is not unreasonable.Having said all, it worked out in the end but we probably would have stayed somewhere else.

We had the best weekend. The room was clean and had all the facilities. I liked the addition of the cafetiere. The shower was nice and easy to use. The bed was the most commie bed I have slept on! All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for giving us both a fun, relaxed and relaxing weekend.

The service here was also impressive. And then, the food here was good, you can see this amazing food here, plus the t-bones were all around the table for the 6 of us, every recipe was cooked perfectly.

We called in without knowing anything about it and we were very happy about it! We had lunch on Sunday and the service was great and we were very welcome. The last day of our vacation, sadly, but otherwise, we would have been back!
