We stopped here for a night and found the staff very helpful. Room was very quiet. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast was excellent. Very friendly place to stay. Would definitely consider going back. Beautiful part of the country too. Great parking facilities.

So we got a txt saying that our room is ready and to let ourselves in if we arrive early, so we did, The room we booked was a double and the room we were told was ours was a twin, we had to wait until 4.30pm for the bar to open, the girl was quite helpful but clearly she had to reach out to management who weren’t there, she wasn’t getting a reply so sorted out the double room for us. The room was very basic, bed was hard, duvet feathers were coming through, it was cold,heaters were off, no hot water in bathroom, luckily the shower was electric, bathroom dirty with bugs. Was a shame. The outside on the accommodation needed painted. Pub was lovely just a shame about the accommodation. Hopefully this helps them sort it out.
