Chose this property as near our son-room was great,clean and quite large but are narrow stairs up to rooms .Didnt notice any noise from pub downstairs. Pub was great and breakfast fab but check have dining food in evening as was not available when we were there. Would stay again though was an enjoyable stay.

I arrived Sunday night (sadly, just after the kitchen got closed) and stayed during the week. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy and the complimentary drinks corner was well stocked (they even have a Nespresso pod machine). For breakfast, I had muesli with non-dairy milk, toast with jam and a latte (a proper made one!) so I was very pleased with vegan options. There is nobody onsite overnight so there is a separate staircase outside the building for hotel guests. I once had dinner in the pub downstairs - vegan fish and chips with the best tartare sauce I ever had! My only drawbacks are that convenience of the hotel being near a main road is noise from the cars and my room was right above the pub tills so you can hear music and loud voices when you are trying to have an early night. Overall, great option for staying near the hospital!

We chose the Wellington as we were visiting family living nearby and it didn’t disappoint. The room was very comfortable - lovely and modern, fantastic bathroom and triple glazing to block out potential road noise. We had a great nights sleep and would stay again. Bustling pub with good atmosphere to grab a beer too! The staff were all friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Ps it’s only about £10-12 in an Uber into the city and there are lots of bars, restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk of The Wellington itself! Location is spot on!

Nice room. Appreciated the bottled water and tea,coffee, biscuits. On a major bus route which was really convenient. The heating was on exceptionally high though, and couldn’t work out how to turn down scalding hot towel rail. Otherwise a really enjoyable stay. Free on site parking was a bonus.

Check in easy very friendly staff, check ourt equally easy. Room clean, lots of space, bathroom very good. Very nice tea and coffee selection. only negative there was no breakfast offered but I eat too many of these and it was nice not to have the self imposed emotional pressure to have another cooked breakfast

The Wellington was a great place to stay over for a couple of nights My husband had to go for surgery at Southmead Hospital ( 15min walk away) The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable and the air conditioning just what we needed A couple of small criticisms. We paid £238 for the room with no breakfast (??) and no chance of a meal in the evening we arrived due to there being no chef. This was disappointing. So although the Wellington is a great place to stay, I think it’s a bit pricey for just a room for 2 nights.

Really quiet room, centrally located hotel - overall just great! We took the stairs to our room (don't know if there is a lift) which took two trips - narrow stairway which was not an issue for us.

Sunday lunch amazing.Staff so friendly and welcoming. Room spacious and very clean.Bathroom large with tub and very efficient walk-in shower. Would heartily recommend The Wellington.

The hotel was lovley, very clean very tidy. The staff were more than helpful. The room was spotless, small but had everything you need. Very close to Southmead hospital, 10 minutes walk, 2 minutes in the car.
