My wife and I just got back from a weeks holiday staying at various hotels. I must say that the wellington heifer is the top choice this time. We stayed in room 5, the luxurious double room, and it was quite spacious and well-furnished, with top-notch bed linen. There is a sofa. From the back window, you can see the rolling countryside. The ensure has a comfortable shower and a huge, deep bath. The shower towels were enormous and fluffy. A flask of fresh milk in the room for making tea and coffee was a great touch. The room is back, farthest from the road and is located in a recently-constructed renovated area. The room has sloping ceilings. Although the car park is in the rear, we didn't really notice any outside noise, even with the windows and veux window open. The bar and dining area seem to be in the middle of the room, which is a good sign. The menus can be ordered before certain hours and the food is excellent value. Good pints of Timothy Taylor, black sheep bitter are available. The bar and eating area are well-furnished and appear to be populated with locals, be residents, and passing trade. We stayed for one night and had a great time. Dinner was served in the eatery at night. The restaurant was very busy, and Charlotte and Kate did a wonderful job of helping to meet everybody's needs in a friendly manner. The cuisine was of excellent quality, hot, and delicious. Even though all 5 rooms were occupied, the bedroom was very comfortable and had to be soundproof. Breakfast in the morning made us ready for the next day and was of high quality and well supplied by Rob. A pleasant location to stay. A delicious touch in the bedroom is fresh milk in a small flask for your tea or coffee.

The breakfast is also tasty and they served a beautiful double glazing. And then, the room's size was big and tastefully decorated. After that, they never heard any of the traffic coming from the room. Subsequently, the bed was quite comfortable.

We spent one night during the bank holiday as a short break. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was fantastic and the food was of high quality and the chef had everything. This is definitely on our wish list for a future vacation! I really enjoyed staying here!.
