Enjoyed a pleasant short stay here as a family. Service in the pub/restaurant/breakfast was prompt and friendly and food was good quality and value. Our room was unexpectedly warm for the time of year, despite radiators being turned-down but there was already a good fan in the room to counter this. We had no issues with noise despite being above the pub.

Very large, very comfortable room with exceptional service from all staff; to be honest, not really what we were expecting - and incredibly pleasantly surprised. Fabulous breakfast, staff couldn't do enough to help and very good value for money. We stayed as our daughter and her family were staying in a cottage in Amble and we'd decided to join them for a few days but in our own accommodation. We are so glad we did. We would definitely recommend.
