Brilliant stay, helpful friendly staff. Great location for the Clock Barn wedding venue (about ten minutes in a taxi). The staff were great recommending local taxi firms. The White Hart had everything we needed to make the stay pleasurable.

The pub was great, service was excellent and they were very helpful in swapping my room to upgrade (additional guest) and speedy with breakfast as we had to leave early. The burger was amazing in the evening.

We booked the White Hart pub as it was a convenient place to stay after our visit to the Bombay Sapphire distillery. The room was a little dated but very clean and the bed comfortable. It’s an old pub so the floorboards upstairs in the room are creaky but this all adds to the character of the place!! The food in the restaurant was delicious and obviously home cooked…not the type of food you would get in some pubs!! The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you!! I would certainly come back again if I needed somewhere convenient to stay to visit the Bombay sapphire distillery!!

It was an old building and obviously had a lot of history. Landlady Nicky was welcoming and extremely helpful. Ideal location for the Bombay Gin distillery visit. Room was a fantastic size, bathroom was large and clean. The bed was a good size and extremely comfortable. The linen and towels were of high quality. Log fire burning in the bar. Excellent choice of drinks and even had a mulled wine. Breakfast was brilliant, good service and a great way to start the new day. Thank you 😊

A good location, large room was clean and comfortable. Only downside was the room was not serviced so after a day out we had to chase to replenish our tea and toiletries, but this was sorted very quickly.

Right in the centre of the town. Was met by the owner who could not have been more friendly or helpful. Comfortable room with it’s own huge en-suite toilet. Breakfast was excellent and hearty. Would recommend a stay. Thank you.

This is a wonderful hotel to stay at. The room was immaculate it was beautiful and wonderful to stay in. I thoroughly enjoyed taking a bath in the enormous tub and sitting at the window reading my book. We also ate downstairs, food and drink was lovely and reasonable. To top it off the service was excellent, the staff are wonderfully helpful. I would say a number for emergencies would be beneficial as there is no one around after midnight. Not that we needed anything when we arrived back from a wedding but just in case. Small suggestions; a stool for use at the makeup mirror would be wonderful as well as some bedside tables. Thank you for a perfect stay we will definitely be back.

Great room, staff are very friendly. Do visit the restaurant for your evening meal as the quality of the food is great. Breakfast was ok, choice was good but I was disappointed by the quality of the ingredients such as the sausage which was very cheap / low end, especially as the quality of the food in the evening was so good. I think you missed a trick here. The other issue which is not so easy to solve is that of parking which on a Saturday night is a case of drive up and down the road until hopefully you get a spot somewhere

We wernt sure what to expect as the reviews were average but our room was amazing much much higher than average. It was spacious, clean, had all we could need and beautiful in presentation. The food was typical pub style and huge portions. Not much to do in the local town as very few shops etc but we went for the Bombay Distillery and was such a good day. Bus is right outside the hotel and the staff are really helpful in advice etc. They were very welcoming and naturally friendly. We have already said we want to return.
