We loved it all. We could have used a lighter blanket instead of the down duvet at the end of June, but we had a fan so all was well. Great food, wonderful staff, we would stay again in a heartbeat.

the pub was a traditional pub, the staff were very friendly, their prices were reasonable, the food was home cooked and delicious with a very good choice. they catered for my friend who requires Gluten free menu. the rooms were away from the pub and were very spacious, comfortable and clean. pretty, rural location but you would need to drive to go anywhere. we visited Bury St Edmunds whilst here, it took about 10 - 15 minutes to drive. it was well worth the visit the Abbey Gardens are amazing.

Not sure where I start here...have stayed here through the week for the last 3 months and cannot fault. Made me feel really welcome Rooms spacious and clean, food superb, especially the breakfast. The only minor downside is the wifi in rooms keeps dropping out but connected via phone so not a major issue, Well done Barry and Jane for looking after me so well whilst I was there. If I am around the area I will definitely be back

Visiting Family in the area and found this to be the perfect base. Easy access to the A14 and Bury St Edmunds, but in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle.

Good, comfortable accomodation with easy access to main routes. The room was larger than expected with tea/coffee/biscuits, bottles of water, large wet room with adaptations for disabled usage. The room was in an adapted outbuilding separated from the main pub with seating outside for guests. I liked the small touches that had gone into the facilities which given the price was not expected. Staff were brilliant. Selection for evening meal and breakfast from the bar great.

Beautiful little village which was unexpected as I thought I had booked a room in the centre of Bury St Edmunds. Very peaceful and excellent dinner and breakfast. Also garden facilities right outside the door! Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic weekend. The staff were lovely, the food was exceptional. The accommodation was 6 ensuite rooms in the grounds in a chalet fashion, and lovely inside. It was in a very quiet and pretty setting. We're going back in August!!
