Just as required. Quiet peaceful rooms. Simple check in, room just what is needed. Even managed to have a fan in room which larger hotels seemingly always struggle to manage to even consider. Staff pleasant and not overbearing in allowing you to just do your own thing at own pace.

What a fantastic pub and restaurant the staff could not have made use feel more welcome.The rooms were large with a comfortable bed with good quality bedding and all the little touches that made our stay excellent.

Engaged with Staff before I left to say I was running really late - they accommodated me by arranging a key safe, provided great directions to the key, parking and my room - also provided a personal number for me to ask for help if I struggled. In the morning - the breakfast team helped by making me a bacon sandwich to take on the go as I was due at meetings. Lovely quiet place, looked out onto field of horses. Would stay again - really clean, lovely and warm, clean, comfy.

Enjoyable stay in rooms at back of main building. Looks like my room had recently been refurbished and some others were undergoing works. Good night's sleep. Food excellent and service very friendly and helpful. Short distance from A14 and parking plentiful. If ever needing accommodation in this area again will return.

Looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful for an overnighter whilst visiting my elderly parents. Got a great deal on this place, so didn't expect much. Pleasantly surprised, great pub, fantastic patio area, good range of beers. The food was good, room was more than adequate and really comfortable (and cool, even though a fan was also provided). Breakfast amazing, neither the Mrs nor I could finish ours, which is a first for us. Highly recommended.
