This hotel is a converted telephone exchange located within minutes walk of the city center. The other modern hotel in the city centre is either tired, old or noisy. The travelodge bedroom also looks a bit dated with the wood effect formica finishes. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast menu is adequate.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and ready for the day. The hotel is great for a stopover in the heart of Carlisle. Not a problem, just the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was so good with warm and comfortable to eat.

The staff is really nice and take care of our luggage when we walk in their office, they send it to us in advance, and they are quite friendly. The room is in a standard room, but I wouldn't recommend it. It is located near the city center and can be reached on foot from the train station.

We booked four nights here to work alone. Every evening we were welcomed by either kylie, michelle, or josh. The staff is very friendly and polite and are very helpful and give great service to their guests. The rooms are clean and tidy and well worth the price. It is a 10-minute walk to the city centre. It's a pleasure to be a part of this place.

It's simple to check-in and book. Good location. The room is spacious but the bed is a little small. We were used to the king-size bed, clean and comfortable. I would recommend wearing a rubber shower mat because the shower cubicle is slippery in the rain. I couldn't even locate a bath mat to use. Breakfast is excellent! There is a lot to choose from.
