I've stayed here twice. I had a car. This is the best cheap place to stay outside of cardiff. Plenty of parking, right next to the shopping area. When we arrived at 10 pm, we decided to have dinner instead. The staff is kind but you were mostly left alone. The room is nothing special, however, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is nice. Great place to stay roundtrip.

When I went for a hen weekend, I put up various things, such as balloons and prosecco. This went on through the coal exchange, and the rooms were absolutely stunning. The staff is very kind and accommodating, and it's a pleasure to stay there. There is lots of character!

I would definitely come back. I got a warm welcome from a very kind staff, who even helped with my luggage. The quiet room was well equipped. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is prepared to order and very tasty.

After reading the evaluations, I feared this location, but when I got there, I was pleasantly pleased. It was spotless and spotless. It was suitable for a single night's stay, and it was in an excellent location near the city center. There was no spa tub. Although tiny, the rooms were ideal for one night. Although the shower was small, it was functional. The proprietor was helpful on arrival. Although it wasn't our first choice, I wouldn't hesitate to return. Although it wasn't in the most desirable cardiff district, it was peaceful and the mattresses were comfortable.

I was very disappointed because sadly we could not charge our car because 2 big vehicles were not charging the electric vehicles bays. There are no electric or hybrid vehicles either. Apart from that, the room was a good size and clean. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was really good, even though it's 10.00. The staff was absolutely wonderful, always willing to help and always smiled. Would stay again.

I booked a midweek stay for two nights in October and was really impressed by the hotel. We got a great deal on the Presidential Suite and had no complaints about the room, it was spacious and had everything we needed including teacoffee making facilities, an iron and free toiletries. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed in a studio apartment with a nice modern design. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing the apartment could use was a toilet brush next to the toilet. Great place for our marathon stay in Cardiff. Just a 5-10 minute walk to the castle.

We stayed here overnight on a last minute trip to Cardiff. The location was great, the rooms were cozy, the rooms were cute, and they had a good amount of privacy, and the sleeping nooks were comfy and cozy. However, the building was ridiculously hot on the basement floor which made it a very unpleasant experience, the floors were dirty, the receptionist wasn't friendly, the toilet wasn't clean, and the wifi didn't work in the room, it only worked in the reception area. If youre just looking for a place to crash and don't want to use much of the amenities, maybe this place is fine, the beds and the location were good, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

Thank you again and we are ready to return. It was a great stay. The rooms were warm and comfortable and had the biggest jacuzzi. The room was clean and what a wonderful hotel this is the staff is welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, everything you could ask for.

This place is recommended. Ive been staying at the Clayton all year and will be staying until the middle of March. Everything is provided in the room for a comfortable stay, and it is spotlessly clean. Every evening, I eat in the restaurant, and there is only one distinctive chef. He cooks with great care. I try to give the food he prepares to her. Zoe is also zoe's front doorkeeper, and nothing is too much to ask of her. She is so approachable and knows the hotel inside out, making my lengthy stay much easier and more enjoyable.

I highly recommend you stay here. I have stayed at most of the ibis budget hotels in the united kingdom. The ibis budget hotel in cardiff city is the best that I've stayed in and have no hesitation in recommending it as a fantastic place to stay when anyone is the Welsh capital. The wonderful hotel staff makes you feel very welcome. They are very professional and efficient going the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and memorable for all the right reasons. The standard ibis budget rooms were spotlessly clean and well designed. The compact bar has a small selection of drinks and food. Breakfast is served but cannot comment as I didn't take. The center of the city center is located on the edge of the city center about a ten fifteen-minute walk and the main railway station is a 20-minute walk and the Millennium stadium is 25 minutes away. There is a coop convenience store across the street.

I've had similar experiences at this hotel before and always find it to be an excellent place to stay. Just wanted to highlight the excellent service provided by the hotel staff. Booked for my partner's birthday, but on arrival, I found cake and a welcome message which I didn't expect. It's always the little extras that make a big difference.

This is an excellent location in the heart of the city. The employees baked us cookies and banana bread, and the kitchen and building themes are all charming. There is plenty of space in the bedrooms because there are many excellent showers. The beds are not very comfortable at all, and a few of the employees were unprofessional. However, some of the staff members were wonderful and very helpful. This was such a healthy and at ease experience. What a wonderful location. We received all our information before our arrival, so check-in went easily. The staff will inform you where to park, and two vehicles had no issues. We stayed in rooms 7 and 8, which were spotless. The beds were cozy and incredibly clean, and ideal for our stay. The location was ideal. Within a short stroll, you're in the heart of town. Breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. Thanks to the personnel, too. They are fantastic. Compassionate, chatty, and knowledgeable. Will assist you in any way they can. The bar's residents are also incredibly welcoming and welcoming. I must mention Oscar the canine, who is quite friendly. The parrot is also crafty. The cat wasn't seen. I wholeheartedly endorse this hotel and will be back when we visit cardiff in the future.

My pleasure at this hotel during my stay with my companion. Beautiful overnight stay. Nice hotel with a comfortable bed, nice-sized bedroom, and bathroom. The hotel staff was very courteous and friendly, especially Cody at the front desk. He is an important member of the company. The breakfast buffet was tasty, hot, and affordable. The waitress was very helpful in preparing my bacon longer because I prefer it to be well done. Parking is free. There are numerous food options and a store and garage on-site because it's located in a service station. We appreciate you very much for a wonderful stay.

My friend and me stayed here for a rugby weekend. This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the city center of Cardiff. The rooms are all modern, clean and light. The showers are great but best if all is the host. So very friendly and helpful. The pub is cozy and we spent some time playing darts in the evening.
