Lovely hotel and lots the staff were really friendly. Great breakfast and we also had an evening meal there which was good too. Located right in the centre of Boscastle.

We stayed for 3 nights. The room was lovely and in keeping with the age and style of the building. Fab towels! The staff were delightful and very helpful. Breakfast was great with excellent choice We had dinner twice and the food was exceptional. We have stayed there before and will definitely stay again.

Never been to Boscastle, what a beautiful place, made all the better by this small friendly Hotel. Absolute joy, no hassle, staff wonderful, so helpful. Food was lovely, wish we had more days here. If you get a chance stay in one of the turret rooms, although of a period (Thomas Hardy stayed here), it fits with the ambiance of the entire area. Lovely walks, so picturesque and everyone should visit this wonderful place.

I don't think I have ever been to a hotel with such genuinely friendly and helpful staff - quite outstanding. Throw in the building itself, which is historic and fascinating, the great position and excellent food, and it's a winner. I'm not a dog person but my friend brought hers, and they really do welcome dogs as well!

The staff at the Wellington were so friendly and welcoming. We spent 3 nights in the Turret room which was spacious with lovely views. There was a good choice of breakfast which was coked to order. We also had a Sunday lunch which was delicious and I would recommend highly. We brought our dog who enjoyed all the fuss from the staff. Thank you to ALL the staff at the Wellington.

Loved the service staff go above and beyond, the food was absolutely gorgeous. Bed very comfortable with my favourite fresh cotton white sheets, everywhere was very clean. 😃. Dislikes, no comfy bar seats all hard wooded, paint work needs attention throughout hotel. This would not stop us staying here again ,our stay was brilliant.

Loads of character. Lovely service especially the guy who I think was the manager’s partner. If you are looking for modern chique then this is not for you. But character, different and good service in spades.
