We stayed for one night, last minute booking, when we were booked to go to the After dark ghost tour at Bodmin Jail. The staff were very friendly, the lady on reception allocated us a room in the cottage so that we could come back at 3am and not disturb anyone. The room was lovely, well cleaned and very comfy. We were asked what time we would like breakfast the following morning, breakfast was lovely, served on time and plenty of it. Will definitely stay again when we go back.

Could do with plastic tooth glasses in bathroom. Was told at one stage that your order for breakfast, both times and content, held good for the rest of your stay, rectified next morning. Heated towel rail unserviceable. All areas spotlessly clean and pleasant staff.

Fabulous. We were staying over to do the Saints Way trail over 2 days. Staff really helpful, we were able to park one of the cars for the weekend. We were staying in one of the rooms in the cottage which was clean, tidy and modern. We booked a table for dinner and the food was exceptional and catered extremely well for both meat eaters and vegetarian, including vegan.

We only went for one night but it was very pleasant. Check in and check out was quick, free breakfast was very tasty. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly. I can't say any bad word about my stay! Recommended. :)

I love this place and always stay here. I always receive a warm welcome and my room (9) had been recently refurbished with a great bathroom as well. The food is fantastic and I can’t rate this place enough. If you like your tai food this is the place for you.

i booked a 2 day stay at the westberry hotel to go to the Eden project which is about 20 mins away. .We were greeted by the owner who was very helpful and friendly and welcoming. the room was clean and tidy, en suite with tea and coffee. The restaurant was incredible, we had a really nice stir fry, the breakfast was also very good. the staff were polite and freindly, a good place to stay .

Having checked out "Hotels, Guest Houses and B & B's in Bodmin" on Trip Adviser, I decided that £60 a night wasn't worth risking on the establishment next door to the Westberry so went for the Westberry, and I'm so glad I did ! Check in was excellent and I had booked a single room so wasn't expecting too much, but for a little over half again on top of what the establishment next door wanted I was overjoyed with the room and especially the en-suite bathroom. The owners have spent their time and money well, a rain shower head and a decent adjustable normal shower in a big cubicle got the thumbs up from me along with the LED lit mirror and loads of built in storage in the basin vanity unit. The single bed was very comfortable and the television could be swung round so you can watch it from the chair with your feet up on the stool or propped up in bed. Breakfast service was efficient and professional, nothing was too much trouble for Mary and she is a credit to the hotel. If I have to be picky and I'm not one to look for faults, the bedroom window had 2 large bird "deposits" and they weren't fresh from an hour or so before, they were at least a day old and may need a good soak to remove them after the glorious bank holiday weekend we just had. The venetian blinds in the bathroom could do with a wet wipe down, they weren't dusty but looked a bit "unloved". If I come down to Bodmin again I will book the Westberry without hesitation, even if I have to go for a double room myself.
