Room was clean but Incredibly hot. (We were there for a hot spell, but it was stiffling hot in our corner room.) Front desk and staff were VERY helpful and accommodating. Location was INCREDIBLE! Paddington station was about a 7 minute walk and it was convenient to all trains. We walked all over London and this was an easy location. Lots of pubs, different ethnic restaurants and stores in the immediate area. Breakfast was acceptable-several options. Might stay here again in the cooler months since they don't have any air conditioning. Otherwise a lovely place! Can't beat the convenience!

Location was excellent for Hyde park and Paddington station. The room had a fan which we appreciated because of the high temperatures. Breakfast was good. Staff was very nice.

The property was centrally located. Although it is lacking of air conditioning, it was compensated by the friendliness and the care given to me and my group by Elena and all the staff at Mitre House. They are all very nice and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you Elena!!

The hotel is so well located in close proximity to many fine restaurants and taverns. Super convenient to the tube and train as well. Loved the bar associated with the reception area and the breakfast - fantastic!

This is a convenient place to stay near Paddington station. The staff were friendly and helpful. A full breakfast is provided to help you have a great start to the day. The rooms are clean. I would stay there again when visiting London.

A nice change of pace from the typical sterile hotel chain! Beds were comfy, and the shower had great water pressure. The full English breakfast was the perfect start to a busy day.

Stately older property, which comes along with everything an older British property entails. That said, it’s very clean and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent and allows easy access to all the things we wanted. Have stayed here before and will again!

We loved this hotel! It's within walking distance from Paddington Station and in a quiet area of London. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the servers, most courteous. We didn't make use of the bar because it smelled a bit musty and was empty. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Mitre House Hotel!

Well, the staff were very accommodating and the location is excellent. No fault of the establishment, just be aware that depending on the weather there is no A/C available. A very hearty breakfast daily and a charming atmosphere. The easy walking distance restaurant referrals are worth checking out. All in all a most enjoyable stay
