Fantastic location, lovely staff, I believe the late checkouts requested caused a delay in our checkin time unfortunately, but staff were nice and offered tea and beverages during the wait. The room was good, think the cleaning staff may have rushed a bit due to the late checkouts, I think I’d rather have waited a bit longer than finding a hair on my bed!

We loved our stay! Our room had the most amazing view of the Edinburgh castle, I would have to say that was a highlight. We enjoyed their continental breakfast. Quality items were available. Definitely the best we’ve had. The location was also great, we walked everywhere, restaurants, and many tourist attractions steps away. The bed was very comfortable as well. The staff were also very helpful with anything we needed.

The hotel is very modern. The room was spacious and clean. It is very close to the restaurants and bars. The staff was helpful and check-in/check-out was easy. Also, they have laundry on-sight which was a nice surprise.

I really can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel. They were beyond helpful with every single thing we needed, or question we asked, and they were all so kind. The rooms were very clean and amenities were great. Staying here really enhanced our entire experience in Scotland; highly recommend!

I cannot praise this hotel enough! First off, the location is outstanding! Right below Edinburgh Castle and a short walk to Victoria Street and all the restaurants and shops you could imagine (after you’ve conquered the stairs you will be walking up many stairs). Secondly, we arrived and the staff were so accommodating and helpful and took our luggage to be stored for a few hours and it was all so easy for us as relatively new independent travellers! Thirdly, the room. Oh heavens above! Absolutely floored. It felt so futuristic and modern and clean and I have no complaints EXCEPT that our room with two single beds, only one of the beds had a charging port next to the bed so my stuff charged under the TV but if that’s my only complaint then that’s how you know the rest of the room was phenomenal. The complimentary umbrella to use during our stay was very convenient in January Edinburgh weather, I did not know I needed such a fabulous umbrella (if I go back I will purchase I didn’t have enough room in my luggage this time) and the selection of teas was divine and every single item was so well organised. From entering the building for the first time to the lift, to the laundry room, to our room, it all felt so secure and safe and modern and just well kept, but do not forget your keycard because I did end up locking myself outside after doing laundry which wasn’t ideal. I don’t normally do reviews but I cannot praise Wilde Edinburgh enough! I’ll be back purely for the hotel!

Great location just down the block from Grassmarket and 5 minutes up the stairs to Edinburg Castle and the Royal Mile. Staff was extremely helpful and amenities were excellent. Staff communicated well when were delayed due to flight changes. Highly recomnend the Wilde.

This is a wonderful hotel that is just far enough off of the hectic doings at Grassmarket. The room had a small kitchen which I didn't use because there were so many restaurants within walking distance and the hotel had a nice breakfast buffet. Woul definitely stay here again

Excellent hotel and location in Grassmarket. Easy walk to restaurants and site. Could see the Edinburgh from our window. Only disadvantage was the king bed was up against the wall and one of us (me) had to shimmy through a narrow space past the end of bed and windows, then I had to crawl from the end of the bed to my pillow. Glad I'm a limber and flexible 75 year old. Just made it difficult for my nightly trips to the toilet from all the beer! Except for the bed (which by the way was comfortable) we would book again with a different room.

Frokosten var god. Savnet agurk, tomat, paprika og speilegg. Rommene var mindre enn på bildet, men hadde alt vi trengte. Bryter for lys burde vært nærmere sengen og sengen var litt for høy. Ellers er hotellet veldig bra og med en super beliggenhet.
