My 1st time staying at the Y Giler Arms was delightful, friendly staff, tasty food with a lovely view. Will happily stay here again. Listening to the Welsh language being spoken by many patrons and staff was a breath of fresh air.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had booked a family room which had to be changed to two rooms, but they were right next to each other and it worked well in the end. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

This property is set amongst beautiful farmland with great views. We got a warm and friendly welcome on arrival and were shown to our room. The room was quite small (but adequate) and very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had all the facility's needed for our 2 night stay. Betws-y-Coed is around 10 minutes drive away, so we decided to have our evening meals at the property. The food was really good and the service from the staff exceptional. If visiting N. Wales again, we would definitely stay here without hesitation.

Amazing staff, great location, good (basic) menu but excellent prices, clean rooms and overall a fantastic one night stopover. TV doesn't get reception sometimes so if you want to watch the Euros you're out of luck (some may take that as a huge positive 😂). I had the single room overlooking the lake and woke up to see the sunrise, which was breathtaking. I could have booked somewhere more modern in Conwy or Llandudno but this place makes a great alternative and the drive and the views are spectacular.

A lovely place to spend a few nights. Good food in the evening and for breakfast but you have to make your own arrangements for lunch (hardly a problem - eat while you're out).

Lovely place with nice views and good access to Snowdonia. Staff very friend, chatty and helpful. Really made us feel welcome. Food and beer was excellent and at very reasonable prices.

2 night stay whilst walking in the area. Very pleasant stay. Very clean and organised in terms of social distancing. Wi fi not working but didn't matter as good mobile signal. Good pub food with large choice of menu items. Tracey the owner was hospitable and welcoming. Would we go back again - yes we would.

Wonderful friendly staff, the best service ever. Room 1 family room was a little damp but then it had rained a lot which was great for the waterfalls nearby. Meals in the pub were great & nothing was too much trouble for Tracey. Would definitely recommend it as a base for Betws-y-coed & ZipWorld

We loved our stay at Y Giler Arms. The owners and staff made sure we were comfortable as well as had an enjoyable stay. The location is gorgeous and you will definitely be embedded in the local culture if you decide to enjoy a beer or two at the bar.

Lovely room and great service, was at an event starting at Glan y Gors kart track and Y Giler Arms is very convenient to the track. Rooms look to have been recently upgraded and are very cosy.

Our family had an amazing stay at Y Giler Arms recently. The proprietors and staff were very friendly, welcoming and hospitable. The food was great (complimentary Welsh breakfast, superb dinner very reasonably priced). Enjoyed conversation at the pub. Close to attractions (Snowdonia mountains, Conway castle/coast). Will definitely stay there again.

Food was unbelievable, room was clean and modern with great views! Staff very helpful and friendly. The only downside i could say was we booked it hoping to have a few afternoon drinks in the beer garden but pub dosent open till 6, but would definitely return!

Great hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Nice clean recently refurbished room. Some nice views and walks around and about Reasonably priced food and drinks in the restaurant. We would happily stay here again.
