Unser Zimmer war wundervoll eingerichtet, das Bett war gemütlich und das Ambiente war sehr einladend. Der Kamin war ein Highlight. Es hat sich wie nach Hausekommen angefühlt. Wir saßen im Garten, auf bequemen Stühlen und haben mit kuscheligen Decken den Sonnenuntergang beobachtet. Jederzeit wieder.

The Emerald room was absolutely amazing. Million dollar view from the warmth of the room or from the patio. A short stroll led you to a few lounge chairs perfect for watching a sunset. Susan was amazing and very accommodating to our needs. We will be making this a regular vacation stop for wife and I.

Ocean was not visible from our room, but we didn’t care. The gardens were absolutely beautiful, the staff very nice and she upgraded our room without us even asking. We will definitely be coming back!

The Agate Cove Inn was a magical peaceful getaway! My husband, daughter, and I stayed here for an extended weekend during the annual Murder, She Wrote festival in Mendocino. This was the PERFECT location to stay for this event. We had an amazing ocean view without sacrificing proximity to downtown Mendocino, which was about a four minute drive, if that. The hotel was clean, with amazing views, friendly staff, good maid service, and easy parking. I hope to return in the future! Highly recommend this inn!

Everything we needed was provided. The only staff we dealt with were the girls cooking in the kitchen at breakfast and they were very polite and attentive. The check-in was easy once we realized it was a self check in sort of situation. My fault for not reading directions well 😆 the location and the scenery were amazing, and the room was clean and spacious. Will definitely recommend and go back.

We wish we could have stayed longer. The property was beautiful and location was perfect after a long day. It has plenty of amenities and the breakfast was a perfect way to start a long day of hiking.

We absolutely LOVE the Agate Cove Inn. Susan welcomed us and quickly showed us to our room. She suggested several places to eat and reminded us that daily baked cookies were in the coffee/tea area. Our three-day stay also provided us with an amazing breakfast! The breakfast staff people are friendly, welcoming and talented chefs. We have been frequent visitors to Mendocino since the mid ‘90’s. It is the perfect place for us to unwind and recharge. We have never stayed in Agate Cove Inn before, but this will be our home base from now on!

We had a wonderful stay wish it was two nights. The room was clean and lovely. I couldn’t find anything to complain about. We loved our patio and looking out at the ocean. I was so happy they had a Tesla charger it was slow but sufficient. We especially loved the breakfast that was a real breakfast with meat and potatoes and made by order pancakes. Also being able to sit there and look out at the ocean was as unexpected and a lovely surprise. The one and only thing that wasn’t a big deal was we couldn’t find any towels. We told the staff and it was handled. I would never try to find the hotel at night. Oh and the restaurant the pub downtown was great too! It seemed like the only restaurant in town we did something really fun and sat down and had dinner with strangers there was no available seating, so they we agreed to sit at a table with people we didn’t know! It was fun spontaneously getting to know four other people. I think it could be a little more updating but nothing worth mentioning.

My mom and I had an amazing stay here. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the property is simply beautiful. The buffet breakfast is probably my favorite i've ever had. Definitely try the Chia Pudding if you can, it was delicious!
