Everything about the Almond Tree Inn was fantastic, except the breakfast. For people with diabetes, like myself, the only protein offered without any sugar/carbohydrates was hard boiled eggs. Even the yogurt contained sugar when it’s possible to buy sugar free yogurt. Also, some lean sliced meats would be a great addition for additional protein. Between fruits, pastries, cereal, breads, bagels, etc., it was all except for the hard boiled eggs. Also, for those of us that are short in stature, it’s hard to reach the body wash, shampoo and conditioner that is hung on the shower wall. If it was lowered a few inches, it would be much easier to reach. Otherwise, I can’t say enough good about our stay. Everything was top notch, including the most helpful staff. I would stay there again without a moment’s hesitation.

Excellent hotel in a great location. The rooms are clean and feel like a 5-star hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is to provide a free drinking water station in the lobby or reception area, available 24/7 exclusively for hotel guests. Overall, an excellent stay and I would highly recommend this hotel

What a cracking little hotel. From the moment we arrived and the helpfulness of the staff, I knew this would be a good one. Room wasn’t huge but this is a former motel converted to a hotel, and it had everything we needed. Walking into the room, it was better appointed than many 5* hotels I’ve been in. Goodness knows how it’s only a 3*. Complimentary breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from. Happy hour with a free drink every night was great and most of the guests went to that which made it nice and lively. The staff though. Absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t have been any more helpful and so knowledgeable about the local area. Daniel was an absolute star. Right round the corner from Duval St, about halfway between the Marina and Southernmost Point, it’s in a great location. I’d come back in a heartbeat and would happily recommend this to friends visiting Key West.

We came over our anniversary weekend. Had the best time! The staff was super helpful! Absolutely zero complaints! Thank you Almond Tree Inn! Our adult children we’ve arranged for a bottle of champagne to be delivered to our room! Would most definitely stay here again!

Location is absolutely perfect for key west and love the extras (happy hour, breakfast) they providecto the guest. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help

Beautiful, small, personal property. The staff was excellent. Great location one building behind Duval St & easy 10 minute walk to southern most point & 15-20 minute walk to Mallory Sq. We met several couples that have been returning for 10-20 years to The Almond Tree. Highly recommend!

Loved the location, amenities and beauty of this property. Key West is expensive wherever you go, so why not just embrace a hotel with a nice pool, gorgeous orchids everywhere, comfortable rooms, ample parking within easy walking distance to Hemmingway's House and all. The breakfast and manager's special were the icing on the cake, although there are great restaurants nearby too.

When I say this place is a diamond I mean it !! We stay at easy more expensive “. Resorts “ in the keys but they don’t even compare to almond tree !! The staff the surroundings - the pool !! Even the people staying there make the whole experience- dare I say ? Perfect !!! We will be returning here soon
