This place was absolutely incredible! Our stay was everything we could have wanted in a getaway and more. Johnny was a wonderful, welcoming host who made us feel right at home. The property itself is so tranquil and beautifully decorated, providing the perfect atmosphere to unwind. On top of that, the bed was honestly one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in, and the breakfast was truly divine. I cannot recommend this beautiful B&B enough—we will definitely be back!

Our stay at Amaya was incredible. The home is impeccably designed, the rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and Johnny is the most kind and welcoming host. He went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. The hot tub is a luxurious perk and the home feels private even with other guests. The location is convenient for exploring the Catskills. I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s a 10/10.

This place is so special and deserves to be in a magazine. It pristine but still comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The Yellow Deli is just a few steps away for dinner, parking was easy and so was the check in. We can’t wait to go back!

The premises (and the room) were immaculate and aesthetically appealing, the ambiance was superb, and the host (Jonathan) was courteous, accommodating, and charming.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at Amaya Bed&Breakfast. From the very first moment we arrived, the owner, Johnny, made us feel genuinely welcomed and completely at home. He gave us a thoughtful tour of the property and shared amazing details about its history, immediately setting the tone for a special stay. Walking inside, we were blown away by how beautiful and cozy the space is. The décor strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern — tasteful, elegant, and incredibly inviting. Every room felt thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. The living area, with its wood-burning fireplace and grand dining table where breakfast is served, quickly became one of my favorite spots in the house. The bedrooms were also beautifully decorated, with some of the most comfortable bedding and pillows I’ve experienced in a while. (I even took a picture of the pillow tag so I could order one for myself!) The true highlight of the weekend, however, was the cooked-to-order breakfast prepared by Johnny himself. Every detail was considered, the food was outstanding, and his warmth and attentiveness truly set him apart. He is one of the most pleasant and gracious B&B hosts we have ever encountered. If you’re looking for quality, comfort, peace, and quiet, look no further — this is the place. As an added bonus, the backyard overlooks a beautiful stream and features a fully functioning jacuzzi for guests to enjoy. We can’t wait to return!

Our stay at Amaya’s Guest House was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth that made us feel instantly at home. The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained, thoughtfully curated, and full of charm in every corner. My husband and I went to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. I messaged the Johnny our host asking if there was any way we can make it feel more special. When we arrived we received a complimentary bottle of wine the most delicious shortbread cookies and Johnny made us a carrot cake !! What i really loved about this location is out rich in history it is which Johnny shared with us. He also shared so many places we can go for lunch/dinner, sight seeing or just places we can take a walk and explore. It was a bit cold so we can to come back in the spring /summer to visit the hiking paths and spend more time outdoors. Lastly - My husband and I are big breakfast people so being able to wake up to a hot cup of coffee and amazing food was pure perfection. This was my first experience with any Bed and Breakfast and now it will not be the last. I definitely plan to make this a frequent destination for us to getaway and reconnect and I recommend the same for others as this is a perfect location for solo travelers, couples and families. 10/10 I truly wish I could tell you everything I love but it's better for you to experience it for yourself.

This property is simply magical...and healing! I had an unbelievable weekend with my host, Johnny, who treated every guest with so much tenderness and care. When I arrived, Johnny gave me a tour of the house, which is absolutely stunning! The pictures are amazing, but the house is even more so. My first night was peaceful and I slept like a baby. The river in the back was mediative just sitting out back by the fire pit or in the jacuzzi. Johnny cooked a fabulous breakfast each morning. His avocado toast and french toast is to die for. He gave me excellent recommendations from a waterfall hike to dinner and various towns to explore. I honestly came to Amaya tired and stressed and left feeling rejuvenated. The place is just healing and perfect for a solo trip, family/friends weekend or even an event. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! It wont disappoint.

We had a very relaxing weekend at the Amaya Bed & Breakfast. The host was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and was the perfect way to start our mornings. The house itself is so beautifully decorated and the surrounding area was very peaceful. I look forward to staying again in the future.
