We will come back!. All the staff were friendly and courteous, particularly nick in the dining room and Ibrahim the security guy. They both went out of their way to help us 3 ladies. It felt like home. The outdoor hot tub was the best treat!

Overall, I had a great time and would return! This latest best western appears to be brand new. The room was comfortable, wellappointed, and clean. There was a nice and reasonably priced tiny market area in the lobby where guests could grab some beverages or snacks and they also offered complimentary cookies, water, and coffee. As others have stated, the neighborhood is a teeming supply. I have friends who live nearby, and even a little wandering around at night wasnt too intimidating if you just took basic city precautions. I do wish the hotel had been a little more secure because the entrance was sliding glass doors and the elevator was right next to those doors. I can see it wouldnt be difficult for someone to slip in and get to the guest rooms if the security guard wasnt there. I have never seen the neighborhood without a security officer. Another tainted note was that hotel guests were not permitted to stay in their rooms from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.. I admittedly broke this rule as my friends were visiting me both nights I was there, even though it was just to check that I was in my room okay. Good, thorough housekeeping was also involved.

My visiting parents came back from a weekend family getaway on Saturday and discovered that an apartment fire had occurred in my building that morning. Fortunately no one was hurt, and the fire department quickly intervened to contain it. My apartment was completely spared by God! However, I'm evacuated until the inspectors give me the green light to return. So I booked a two-night stay at the best western soho because it's close by. After the first two nights, my home was already ready to go back to, so I extended my stay an additional night without incident. The inspection wasn't completed this morning, so I needed one more night, which I booked online. When I went to the front desk to sign the paperwork, I was informed that I couldn't prolong my stay one night at a time because each time I went down to sign for the room, I was putting the staff at risk of exposure. I told them I was evacuated since it was up in the air for me that daily extensions were my best option. But I cannot anticipate how accommodating my needs would put someone at a higher risk of exposure than if new guests had been checking into the same room every day for four days. Someone must sign for a room if it gets booked. That's how hotels operate. And given my extenuating circumstances, I can't help but wonder if there is more to
